Launched in 2012 in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, Ethique is a regenerative beauty and lifestyle company, available in 24 markets and in over 4,000 retailers worldwide. Their mission is to leave the planet and its people better than they found it by doing ‘more good’ rather than simply ‘less bad’. Since their inception, Ethique has prevented the manufacture and disposal of more than 20 million plastic containers worldwide with the goal of 500 million by the end of 2030. Brianne West founded the company in her kitchen while at university studying a Bachelor of Science. Ethique’s range of concentrated beauty and lifestyle bars are all proudly made in New Zealand, certified vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil-free, plastic-free and packaged in home-compostable cardboard and free from any petroleum by-products. Two percent of sales are donated to charity and Ethique is climate positive! Ethique ingredients are fairly traded, sustainably sourced, biodegradable and plant based. Ethique is proudly a living wage employer and works directly with key ingredient producers to ensure they are paid a fair price for their product, which in turn ensures they look after their community and their environment.
