CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara

i have to say i love this mascara i never used mascara for such a long time and i now wear it everyday. i did start using CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara on both my top and bottom lashes but as time has gone on i now use a different mascara on my top lashes and this one on my bottom lashes. i just love the way it makes my bottom lashes stand out. if i want to have extra long top lashes i do use this one after my other mascara just on the ends to give them an extra boost.

I purchased this after hearing the ongoing hype about this mascara and how great it was. Don't get me wrong it's a perfectly fine mascara, but, personally I did not find it amazing and am not sure what all the hype is about.

I do like the bright green packaging of this mascara and the sleek tube design, however, dislike the rubber spiky brush design that this has versus the traditional bristle brush. This mascara has a curved applicator which I neither loved nor disliked (I like a couple of mascara's with this brush type and some without, so I don't think the curved brush has that much influence in performance).

As with most mascaras the formula was quite wet for the first couple of weeks, but, after this time (with daily use) the formula thickened up and I felt it performed a lot better. It makes some big claims about volumising and producing zero clumping which are not exactly true in my experience. I found it definitely added volume, but, not the 200% it promises and it was great at keeping the lashes separated and clump free for a few weeks, but, as it dried out with use I found a few clumps slipped through. I didn't find it gave much length to the lashes, but, I did like how separated it kept them.

The only real issue I had with this mascara was it flaking off in the later weeks of owning it. So for me it only has a limited lifespan of creating really nice looking lashes (too wet initially and too dry and flaky after a few weeks with a small period of perfection).

I probably wont repurchase this as I have mascara's I like much better at the same price point, but, it is an okay standard mascara.

I adore this mascara. I always use two mascaras, one that will give the volume, and length and then i go over that with my clump crusher, in waterproof. I use waterproof as it doesent smudge at all (and non waterproof for under it, so it doesent get stuck on lashes). I use this one to get rid of clumps, and give that final bit of lift. its not a bad mascara on its own, however i prefer using one that will give me a bit of length first!

Oh. My. Goodness. I am totally in love with this mascara. It is just incredible and amazing and it makes my lashes look so huge and thick. I mean I have long eyelashes so I don't need the length, but boy does it give me the volume I need. I personally do not like to layer it because I find it uncomfortable with more than one coat, but I definitely don't need more than that to make my lashes look incredible with this mascara. It's worth the money. It's worth the hype. I am completely in love and I have finally realised how amazing my lashes can look. Also it really fans out my lashes near my outer corner which gives my eyes such a lovely shape.

I bought this mascara when it first came out on a whim as I had never tried any Covergirl mascaras before. I loved it! It really separated and lengthened my lashes. It really lives up to its name as it never was clumpy and it felt really light on my lashes. It is on the more natural side but you can keep building it up. I will definitely keep repurchasing this!

I bought the CoverGirl Clump Crusher mascara a bit apprehensively, I wasn't big into cosmetics at the time and every other mascara I had tried was horrible. This doesn't flake, I can cry/have an allergic reaction and it doesn't run. I don't feel like I have 6 tons of mascara weighing down my eyelashes, and like previous reviewers before me have said 1-2 coats is enough for day to day wear. I like the fact that I can chuck it on and don't spend half the day picking out clumps or re-doing it. It also doesn't have an offensive odour to it which I have noticed some mascaras do have.

I love this mascara! I use the Very Black in one or two coats and I find it looks natural and there usually aren't any clumps (although I am really fussy about clumps and keep a clean wand on hand to separate any that might come).

I would say this is a light, more natural looking mascara but it seems to build up in layers really easily so you could experiment to get a more dramatic effect.

Clean up is easy.

Note - I gave this to my Mum to try and she said it flaked during the day, but I haven't had any problems with that that I have noticed myself.

This mascara lives up to its name: no clumps here! I would describe the effect of this mascara as being nice and natural looking. It's also quite buildable meaning you can leave it at just one or two coats, or build it up with 3 or 4 to get more of a false lash effect. The bristles on the wand are tiny, and not something I thought I would like at first, but the size means it's so much easier and clean to use than my previous mascara, the Maybelline Falsies. The only downside for me is the bulky, garish packaging! But since the mascara is so good, I don't really mind.

This is a great mascara. It gives you thick, long looking and clump free lashes. I usually curl my lashes and apply this as a base coat then apply a different mascara over top. If you apply one coat it is a great natural look or apply a few coats to give a more glam feel. I use this mascara a lot and it is one of my favourites. I like the packaging and it is easy to hold. I would recommend this to a friend and would repurchase.

I like this for natural lashes definitely does what it says and have never had any clumps also separates lashes evenly with it brush like bristles I don't feel like it gives a lot if volume as it states but overall I love the natural look it offers
