One of my least favourite foundations I have ever tried, I really wanted to love it but unfortunately it just did not work well for my skin. I have quite dry, dehydrated skin and after just hours of use it looked really oily. Just did not work for me at all.

I got a decent size sample from my closest retailer to try the colour before I splurged my money. I must say, the colour match was perfect! It gave me a nice medium coverage and felt so nice on the skin, I looked dewy and hydrated and flawless, but it still looked like skin. Perfect! However, I was unimpressed with the staying power. I need a full day out of a foundation, but I found by lunch time I was looking shiny and oily, no amount of powder would help me, I just looked sweaty rather than flawless. I tried it again for just an evening look, but still came home oily as opposed to 'glowing'. I hadn't used too much and I don't generally have oily skin, it just changed on me throughout the day. I loved it on and was a perfect colour match (so hard to find!) but i've decided not to purchase it because I need much longer life out of a foundation... but so keen to try the matte version though!
Tips: Definitely try for a few days before you spend up large!
I just couldn't get this foundation to work for me. I have normal skin, leading more to dry then oily. I found the only way to get this foundation to blend was by using a damp sponge, then I found it was too lighter coverage (and I'm not a fan of full coverage) it says the best way to apply is with your fingers but this didn't work for me, nor did a brush. It would look streaky and not sink into my skin. It was far too frustrating to get it too look right so I gave up on it.
When I wore it I didn't find my skin looked glowy. It was more of a satin finish which wasn't what I was looking for.
The packaging is a nice glass bottle but I think it's annoying having to buy a pump seperately. And once you have a pump the lid isn't able to be used.
They have a good selection of shades.
I can see this being a dry or normal skin's best friend, but it is sadly not for super oily skin. The finish is beautifully dewy, flawless and lightweight when you first apply, and thankfully it keeps that lovely lightweight feeling all day, but for me, the shine gets out of control. Even with a mattifying primer and powder, I still get shiny after about an hour after applying. If I try to touch up my powder without blotting, the foundation starts to break up on my nose, forehead and chin, and settles into all my pores. It also melts away from the sides of my face and a little under my eyes. I want to love it so badly, I really do - if I wasn't so oily I'm sure I'd love it! The shades also run too yellow or too pink on my neutral skin, and I can't seem to find a nice neutral shade in this foundation. One plus about this foundation is that my skin always feels just slightly nicer after I've worn this for a day and then washed it off, although maybe it's placebo effect as I expect something this pricey to do wonders for my skin.
Tips: Probably best suited for normal-dry skin.
I find putting it on with the real techniques buffing brush then patting over top with a damp beauty blender is the only way it will go on nicely. I have tried many other techniques and have spent hours watching tutorials on how to apply it but only one way works without making it streaky. Gives a medium coverage but is buildable.
Tips: A damp Beauty blender is the best way to apply.
Heard such good things about this but let me down a wee bit, think it is purely because of my skin type. I have found that it doesnt stay very well even with my fav primer and setting spray. Still has a nice finish when you first apply.
Tips: Test before hand as if you have normal to oily skin dont think it is suited to that as much as other skin types.
I've recently started trying more glowy/sheer foundations since I've always worn full coverage foundation and bought a bottle of Nars Sheer Glow. It is definitely a light/medium coverage foundation which you can build up if needed. I found that it didn't have the staying power that other foundations have though however this might just be me! Even though it didn't stay on as long as I would have liked, it applied very smoothly and I did like the look it gave my skin. Definitely would try it again.
I brought this foundation out of pure curiosity, everything if good about it, its just that I prefer a fuller coverage, the texture is very light and soft, it applies very easily and is easy to blend, please note if you are looking for a foundation to cover acbe and scars etc this is not for you. this foundation reflects the light, so you end up with a white face
I like this foundation... kinda. It gives pretty good coverage and the shade is a good match. I do find that it can sometimes cling to my dry patches on my cheek which is a bummer but I've started using a more hydrating lotion AND primer so I will have less dry areas and it works well but for the price, I expected a lot better.
Also, I dislike that it doesn't have a pump - BUT you can buy them separately (around $4) but what's the point really.
Tips: Use a hydrating primer -- I have combination skin so cheeks are drier and found it clung to that area. Also found that the foundation kind of separated when I used a silicone based primer? Have only seen a few cases where it was the same -- I really like the Too Faced Hangover RX primer with this.
I had heard this foundation was suitable for combo, oily skin as it has a more matte finish.. It is defintaly a lot more MATTE than GLOWY but it does tend to cake up and it makes me shiny within about 4 hours of wearing it during the day. It is buildable coverage but I think you are best to apply with a flat top brush, and to blend it out fast before it drys, if that's the look your wanting.
