Does what it says it will! I've been using this primer everyday for over a month and am loving it! A little goes a long way and doesn't look like you have too many products on your lids! The packaging can be a little hard to squeeze but helps prevent over use.

Tips: Eye makeup remover a must in removing as it can be quite stubborn to remove. Like I said before a little goes a long way so don't over use as it as it will take longer to set and the result won't look as nice.
It took me a couple of months before I decided to buy this product and it was $29 well spent (from Beauty Bliss)!!!!
I have oily lids so my eyeshadow is already nonexistent by the 4th hour. I have tried a number of primers and concealers in the past but this product is by far the best! My eyeshadow lasts a good 8 hours with very slight fading but nothing to cry over.
My only gripe is the colour of the product when blended into my eyelids. It leaves a peach/whitish cast which is fine when covered with eyeshadow however it means I have to be quite precise where I place the product. Other than that I highly recommend this product.
Tips: A little bit goes a long way so press the tube gently to get as little as possible.
I purchased this off the Lime Crime website on a whim along with their Brightener (I was buying Cashmere and didn't want it being lonely on the journey to NZ)
I really like the tube. The packaging has changed since the picture above and I like this one a lot better. I love the shiny graphics of the logo and unicorns. It's simple and shows itself when hidden in a make up bag. I do have all my LC out on display though, it's to pretty to hide.
Again this lid takes a lot of unscrewing to open the lid. I like this as it won't pop off and squirt in makeup bags when heading away.
This is a really thick consistency product. It's really hard to squeeze out. I think it's made like this so you don't waste precious product.
Out comes a really light foundation coloured product. I had a woopsy with this as well and applied to much. So again I used under my eyes and right up to the brow line. It takes me a bit to blend it with my finger. The more you warm it as you spread it will move easier.
You eyes are left to look smooth and a darker colour than your skin colour. Well mine anyway. I apply the shadows and it doesn't change the colour I am trying to achieve which is great. This does make eye shadow last longer than no primer. I have used it under both powders and cream formula shadows and it works well on both.
Now I'm doing a comparison on the Brightener and helper to try help you ladies. Myself personally I find that when you put both side by side on your hand, the Brightener goes white, the helper is like foundation. The Brightener kind of makes your finger slow down as it sweeps over it. Whereas the helper feels very very slightly rough. If you could only afford one of these or wasn't sure which to pick, myself I'd go for the Brightener.
Sorry for kind of reviewing both products in the same review it's just that to me they are so similar.
This is probably the best eye primer I have ever used. I have roughly 6 eyeshadow primers and thought I should clear some out and Lime Crime was the one which brought out the best and most colour of any of my eye shadows. I also have slightly oily eyelids and it helps my eye shadow last majority of the day. You only need a very small amount of product to distribute on your lids. Sadly I wouldn't repurchase only because of the company and the attitude of the people who work there.
I haven't used many eye primers but this one was definitely better than the other one I had been using for years. The one I was using came in a pot and this came in a tube. Personally I preferred the tube because if you're going to hold on to makeup as long as I do you're going to want the most hygienic options you can find, right? Plus I have long nails at times and don't like getting products under my nails. The eye primer is a light biege shade, it's lighter than my NC25 skin but it gets covered with eyeshadow. I have oily monolids and this keeps my eye shadow in place for hours. I do experience some creasing and fading at probably around the six hour point, especially if the quality of my eyeshadow isn't as good at staying put or isn't matte. The primer doesn't irritate my eyes and goes on smoothly that is until it hardened. The major con for me about this product is that it is very, very difficult to get out of the pretty lavender tube. The product seems dried out near the top of the tube and it is really hard to squeeze out the dried out portion doesn't go on smoothly either. When I do my eye makeup I don't have lots of time and so I find not being able to easily squeeze the product out of the tube kind of frustrating. Because of that I probably won't repurchase this.
Tips: If you do buy this do keep in mind that this product seems to harden in the tube and so be prepared to part with it or just buy another eye primer.
Good all round but it's hard to get out in the first place! A little goes along way. Does as it says, gives depth to the eye shadow and.lasts fantastic through out the day. The 0rice is alittle steep considering the cheaper competition out there. All in all it's a decent product though.
It does what it says it does!! Keeps your eyeshadow looking camera ready the whole day and enhances the colour three fold. If you are into make up artistry then this is a another must have product in your arseonal. It is a bit pricey to use on a day to day basis but great to have if your planning a night out, it also adds staying power to your make up, definitely need make up remover!! Compaired to other eyelid primers I feel lime crime is ahead of the race.
Tips: Cleanse and moisturise before applying primer.
