Sure these are pricey but clinique shadows are excellent quality, long wearing, smooth and silky and very flattering for all ages as even the shimmery shades are not frosty and don't accentuate lines. I also find Clinique shadows to be incredibly flattering shade wise, they produce some lovely wearable shades which always look classy and not too dramatic - colours that are a step out of your comfort zone but slightly muted and made more natural/easy to pull off. The compacts are chic and classy and make you feel glamorous just having them in your makeup bag. My favourites are Rose Wine, chocolate kiss and deco-dence (which I think have both been recently discontinued), day to date is my latest love the most wearable duo of beige/rose and deep chocolate. The other bonus of Clinique pressed powder shadows and blushes is that they are paraben free unlike many other brands so good to keep in mind if you like less chemicals in your makeup!

I have sooo many of these, they are one of my favourite eyeshadows, Because of there sleek design you can fit a few of them in your make up bag too. These are just a few of the ones I have Chocolate Chip - Shimmery Brown and Dark Brown Strawberry Fudge - Pink and Purple Beach Plum - Golden Beige and Plum Splash - Neutral and Blue/Green Shade
I always look there colour match ups, beautifully co-ordinated they always work perfectly in contrast and blending together.
These shadows are powdery, silky and soft with high pigment, you don't need much on, and so easy to build up the colour. They have long lasting wear throughout the day.
A must have in any kit!
I have the purple shadow of this brand and works pretty well. I use the lighter shade quite often. The dark shade is very dark and takes a while to blend. The only issue I have is the powder falls on your cheeks when applying, so I tilt my head back and kind of pat it on.
Tips: Use a different brush than the one given in this set, works so much better.
I received this duo as part of a GWP. The darker colour of the two is a pinky bronze, very pretty and shimmery washed across the lid. The lighter shade of the two is a duo-chrome pink/gold which unfortunately does not suit my complexion at all. This makes my eyelids look like they have some sort of dry rash- not pretty.
I also have a Clinique matt trio which is very pretty. It includes French vanilla which is quite creamy and buttery. The next shade is Night Plum a deep dark purple which translates more charcoal purple grey when applied. The last shade Stone Violet is a mauvey plum. They all blend fairly easily and don't crease on the lids.
While these shadows are nice I probably would not purchase at full price as I think there are cheaper options that do the job just as well.
After having tried a number of eyeshadows, I bought a new duo from a TM seller, to see how my eyes liked this shadow. Luckily for me, it was a success. I have beach plum duo which has a gold and a mauve shade. On my eyes it looks really pretty to have gold at the outer edge & purple towards the centre. With a primer it sticks pretty well, and I'm now looking out for others. As Clinique seem to give these out as a GAP quite a lot, there are usually some reasonably priced new ones available, where this brand would normally be outside my budget.
I really like this product. The packaging is very nice looks very lux. The colours are very pretty and easy to blend out. They show a nice amount of pigment in the lid. I find that using my finger or getting spray makes the colours pop more. I have never had irritation when using this product
I love clinique and have done for years. Their shimmer eyeshadows have been in my favourites for years now, they are easy to blend, a great amount of colour and they are long lasting. I've found however that the matte shades are quite hard for me to blend, and I don't get as much colour payoff. My favourite shade will always be sparkling sage.
