It took a few uses before I found just how little of this lovely cream is needed - no more than a baby pea sized amount for me (though I have very small hands so others might require a little more.) It is quite a thick and slightly sticky cream compared to other brands I have tried but the short extra time needed to massage it in actually gives my elderly hands a wee treat - they have certainly shown improvement in soft and smoothness. After only a couple of weeks of use (probably no more than once or twice daily) my formerly very soft nails are perceptibly harder and stronger.

This is a lovely, light yet replenishing hand cream. Generously sized, a small amount is enough to moisturise my hands without leaving any residue. White in colour and quite thick in texture, it has a gorgeous smell that reminds me of Trilogy. Kind of light, floral and orangey. Will definitely repurchase.
Tips: Use often.
I work in a job where I am constantly washing my hands so having a good hand cream available is essential. I have so far really liked the products from Natural Instinct and this hand cream is no exception. It feels lightweight on the skin - not too greasy and absorbs quickly. I can't comment on how long the moisture lasts for as I wash my hands too often to tell, but I can say that my hands feel softer and I'm free from any dry bits, including my cuticles which are a bit of a problem area for me. The scent is lovely, similar to the rest of the range. It is light and natural and reminds me of rosehip oil. This brand is paraben free, no nasty chemicals and no testing on animals which is always a plus.
When I first opened this, I fell in love with the smell because it smells so yummy. I can't quite put my finger on the scent, citrus of some kind perhaps. I was hoping that it would be a great product unfortunately not. But I always try to find a positive in a product first which you will see below.
Positives: Great price making it affordable for most people and you also get a big tube so it will last you awhile.
It doesn't make your hands/nails greasy which is great because I have been using it at work and I don't need greasy hands/fingers when I'm using computers etc.
Negatives: Sadly it does not feel hydrating on my hands or nails, I actually re-applied thinking I hadn't put enough on. But I had the same result after applying a second coat. My hands also did not feel soft either. I actually felt this cream gave me the opposite effect which is very strange.
Sadly not a product I could recommend to someone if they were looking for one that softens and hydrates.
I will say though that I have extremely dry skin so it may work for someone that doesn't have such thirsty skin and nails as I do.
