I never use a traditional hair brush on my mid length, thick coloured hair. I usually just use a large wide tooth comb. I was a little bit hesitant to use this brush as my hair will frizz out when brushed. I was very pleasantly surprised as I used this brush, it didn't make my hair frizz and it was very easy to use on wet hair as well. It even got the seal of approval from the teenaged daughter, who has very thick and curly hair. It un tangled her hair with ease. Will continue to use. Very happy with this nice wee brush.

This little brush is just so cute! I received it in a subscription box and it was a welcome hair care tool. The size is perfect to pop in your handbag or bag ( I like to take it with me for when I may need it during the day).
The black design and pattern is stylish. I have long thick hair and it works well for me to brush my hair and get rid of the knots.
However, I do find my daughter prefers the normal tangle teezer that is round and it takes out the tangles easier.
But I do really like this travel sized beush for the convenience and design it has for me. A great little brush that is so handy.
Four stars from me.
This is one thing I really wanted to get my hands on in the vault as the reviews were so good.
It is quite small and a little flimsy. I do however like the cool pattern on it. I tie my hair up for work and some mornings I don't even brush it I just throw it in a quick messy bun if I am running late so as you can imagine my hair can be a knotty mess when it comes to wash day.
I thought it would be a great test for this brush. The brush struggled for sure. It really wasn't any quicker than using my normal brush and it snagged and tugged like usual. So that was a fail. Next I used it on freshly washed hair, meh it did an ok job but once again just like my normal brush would.
Perhaps my hair is far too long or thick. But for me this is not a wow product and not something I would rave about. I will alternate between brushes and just use whatever I grab. Not an exciting brush for me.
I love this little brush but 2 of my 3 girls don't. I think it is great for thick hair but on fine hair not so much.
Starting at the beginning: the packaging was ok, especially for the low price ($9.99). Basic cardboard with brush attached by zip ties, not fancy and nothing making it stand out.
The brush is black and nice and light, would fit into a handbag, so good for taking out and about.
The bristles are fine and placed wide apart and I love the pattern the empty area makes. Two of my girls have very fine hair and the brush works ok for them although they say it hurts and I do find their hair doesn't always look like it has been brushed properly due to how far apart the bristles are.
Myself and my oldest daughter have quick thick hair and we both love it. Brushes out knots without too much pain and a lot less effort than other brushes to.
Yes I would recommend this brush for thick hair, it is quick and easy to detangle hair, but wouldn't recommend as highly for thin hair as a second brush or comb is required to make hair look like ir has been brush, yes it detangles the knots but doesn't look like it has been brushed.
Tips: Don't press to hand on the scalp as it does hurt.
Goodness knows what my daughter dreams about but every morning without fail she emerges from under the duvet with a birds nest attached to her head. Needless to say hair brushing is a sensitive subject in my house which is why I was excited to try this product. I tested it out on my own hair first and loved how it left my hair feeling - smooth and healthy. The moulded base also gave my head a little bit of a massage with every stroke - a big plus in my book! However, the real test was the dreaded birds nest. To my suprise from the very first brush it glided seamlessly through my daughters tatty hair. No complaints and more importantly NO TEARS. Neither of us could believe it. She said she loved how it felt, and has now claimed the brush for herself. Thanks Beauty Review!
When I was selected to review this product I was excited to see how it worked on different hair types, as I have thicker hair and my kids have thinner hair. I found it did an awesome job in their thinner hair. Took the knots away with out any pulling, and my son especially enjoyed the head massages. As for my thick mop. I was surprised it made it through my hair at all. The needles I thought may break as they felt too soft to make it through it. But this tiny brush held it's own. I'm still unsure if I like it or not for my hair. But have definitely claimed it as the 'kids brush'. Nice handy size, looks stylish and does the job which is the main thing. I do think it is a wee bit overpriced.
Love this brush. I got to trial the handbag size and it wash perfect for a mum who is always on the go. It has a very sleek design that makes the body of it flexible. Unlike conventional hair brushes that are stiff and pull against your hair, hurting your scalp every time you come to a knot, this brush has a flexible body. This design allows it to move with your hair and the knots you may encounter, making the brushing and detangling process it less painful and super quick. I have thick, curly hair and it managed to untangle it both dry and wet with ease. Am very keen to get the full size brush to see if it is just as good if not better!
I received the Purse sized brush which was packaged plainly with the brush being attached to a card. At the price point I did not expect fancy packaging , rather it was practical and well labelled, which should make it easy to identity in store I tried it on my dry hair straight away and really liked the feel it had on my scalp, the bristles have wee knobs on the ends of them so the feeling was like a mini massage, firm but not harsh. I really enjoyed the massage feel and it prompted me to use it quite a lot that day and since then. I noticed several effects from brushing often, mainly the number of knots and severity of tangles has decreased furthemore my hair is shinner. I decided I would test it out on wet hair as I had been using a wide toothed comb after swimming. It not only worked just as well as the comb in detangling and I got the nice head massage feel as well moreover, it does not appear to have stretched my hair or produced split the ends. Its like a wee drop of magic. I am not sure how or why this works as well as it does, I have to admit I was a tad sceptical about using a brush on wet hair prior to using it but it works and is very pleasurable to use. I also love the size of the brush, it fits easily into my handbag and as I have short fine hair I don't need a larger brush. I take it with me everywhere and use it frequently. My hair has never looked so good I believe this is due to not only been basically tangle free but also distribution of the natural oils that brushing induces as opposed to combing. At a retail price of under $10.00 I will be replace this one (when I need to) with a new Mite TanglePro. I am pleased I put my hand up for this trial. Thank you Beauty Review
Tips: I believe there are two types of this brush, one has tougher bristles than the other so make sure you get the right bristles for your hair type. Also there are two sizes i choose the purse size as I don't have masses of hair and it is short I think the larger brush may suit people with thick and or longer hair
I used this for myself and my daughter, we have 2 different hair types. I have think heavy wavy hair - I found it great on my hair, really light, a little flimsy but to be expected a bit on a purse size brush. My daughter has long fluffy hair, really fine but alot of it. wasn't so good for her hair. It didnt cut through the knots when it was dry as easily as it did mine. But I still really liked the product over all, it definitely has it's place and I am really happy for this to keep at work, in my car etc.
I love the TanglePro brushes! I have been using the normal size one for a while and recently purchased the purse sized so I can stop carrying the giant one in my bag! The flexibility of these brushes must be what somehow magically makes them almost pain free. I wake up every morning with rats nests, in minutes the TanglePro has sorted with a minimum of swearing! The mini is purple like its larger sibling, maybe not quite as super effective as the large one but I suspect it might be due to the size meaning it had slightly less bend and flex as the biggie. Still so so so worth buying
Tips: Use in the shower or on wet hair for even less pain and snagginess
