Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush - Purse Size Review

So i got picked to review this brush, first off i just have to say a huge thank you! its amazing!!! i recently cut my hair so brushing with it was great, but my hair isn't super knotty. so the real test was using it on my 7 year old. her hair is somewhat thick and down to her waist. so it gets knotty really quick. we have many different kinds of brushes which always end up hurting her. this one though... not the case! first time ever i got to brush her hair without crying, screaming or moaning about it. this brush is fantastic! never gets stuck, so easy to use, my daughter can now brush her own hair (which is amazing for me cause it take sooooo long to do!) this brush is on the smaller side, as its a purse size brush, which would be easy to chuck into your handbag and you wouldn't notice it there. But even though its small it still has no problem keeping up with a full size brush! this is the kind of brush you want to buy extras of just in case you lose or break one, which i will be doing!

Wow!!! I am actually impressed!!! When I received the tangle pro , I looked at it and thought hmmm that’s going to rip my hair out . I usually use a boar bristle , but that seems to make my hair fluff up and go frizzy, it’s really ugly. Sometimes I’d use a plastic bristle paddle brush and it would snap my hair off. I eventually stopped brushing my hair and just finger detangle in the shower with conditioner, I was that scared of the frizz and snap. I love the vented design, it’s curved , fits snug over your scalp and it feels like a massage. I have not tried to blow dry my hair with it but I feel like you could due to it’s design .

I’ve used this godsend with damp hair, no snap!! I’ve used this dry and my hair has not gone frizzy !!! I was absolutely shocked.

My hair stayed fairly straight , which is crazy just from a hair brush. It was not all knotty and looking like a drowned clown had given me their wig to borrow.

I really am so impressed and it’s the only brush I’ll ever use , my Girls and even my son love it too.

Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush (purse size) claims that it has a “flexible base to mould to the shape of your scalp”. Incorrect. The brush is plastic, the entire brush. Solid, not flexible. There’s nothing really different with this brush than any other run of the mill hairbrush. The bristles are very thin and pliable, so I can understand how this would help reduce hair breakage. However, if you have thick hair then this brush is definitely not for you, I can’t get it through my daughter’s hair at all.

I tried getting a little creative and took the brush into the shower to use during conditioning of my hair, this did prove to be quite effective. It managed to painlessly remove a lot of my dead/broken hair and my hair was lovely and smooth afterwards. Other than the convenient size, I’m not seeing anything spectacular about the TanglePro 3D Detangling brush.

I was selected to review this hairbrush, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this specific brush out of my own pocket. Although I do use a few other Mita products, which are great. This particular product however simply doesn’t have me sold on what it’s claiming to do.

It’s not a win from me this time Mita.

Was looking forward to giving this a go. My 4 year old acts like she is being murdered every time I approach with a brush in hand.

It arrived and I was surprised at how light it was. It’s small enough to fit in your bag and being so light won’t weigh your bag down. It has a spiral shaped base with ‘air vents’. The inner bits of the spiral bend. I suppose so they move with the shape of your scalp!?

I told my girl that this was a new brush and would t hurt. The first stroke had her screaming. (Now I’m not a monster - I am gentle!). She has fine hair but ALOT of it. And it can tangle easily. It felt flimsy in her hair and I don’t think it made brushing her hair any easier. I was a bit disappointed.

I was really happy to trial this 3D Detangling Brush as I have thick hair and 2 girls who's hair is always a drama to brush. I think it's the perfect size and shape and easy to keep in my handbag. So we tried it on both wet and dry hair and we think its fabulous, it goes though the knots quite easily and they actually come out faster than a normal brush, and leaves our hair feeling real nice. I use it as my everyday brush now and it's been great and for my daughters, definitely does what it says as I've tired other brands that haven't helped. Will definitely be recommending this product.

Blown away ... that is all I keep saying over and over! Usually I wash my hair, let it dry naturally and then watch it go POOF with extreme frizz. I can't be seen like that so my hair is constantly being straightened. How surprised was I to not need or want to bust out the straighteners for the first time in over 15 years. This brush claims to reduce hair breakage but for my hair it did so much more!... My hair didn't become poofy and frizzy once dry and looked so good I didn't need to straighten it. My hair felt unbelievably soft and looked like I had lots of very healthy, shiny hair. After a week of using it daily my hair looked like it had grown considerably. Maybe that is due to not losing as much hair, my hair not breaking and my scalp being massaged and stimulated daily. What little hair did end up in the brush was so easy to remove thanks to its special design. It may be purse size but for me it felt like the perfect sized brush and it fit so nicely in my hand and my hand didnt slip on the handle. I started brushing my hair a few times a day as it felt like a wonderful scalp massage with every stroke. I didn't have to start brushing at the ends of my hair which I usually do ... I was able to start at the roots and brush all the way through with no pulling or fighting. It felt like it moved easily and gently through my hair no matter it's state at the time. How can all this happen with one little brush? I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to test and review this brush and I am going to continue using it every day because I really am blown away and so happy! My hair has never looked or felt better thanks to this amazing wee brush.

I am so glad I was selected for the Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush - Purse Size review team. I often get a lot of knots in my hair after washing it and always feel guilty for brushing it when wet as I know I'm causing breakage and damage to my hair. However with this product I felt there was a reduction in the damage I was doing to my hair as it seemed to glide through my hair a lot easier making it more manageable to brush when wet. It also did wonders for my toddler's curly unruly hair, making it easier and quicker to brush. A huge bonus when you usually have to chase them around the house with a hairbrush, trying to get their hair to look nice before going out.

I am a big fan of Mita’s original TanglePro brush, so I was excited to have the opportunity to trial their new 3D purse-sized edition.

This brush is made of soft black plastic, with a hollowed-out spiral design on the head. The brush is very light to hold, and the handle is smooth. The head is curved to fit your scalp. The bristles are made of a soft, flexible plastic, and are 2cm long. The brush itself is about 17cm, so not small for a purse size, but still nice and compact.

The bristles are long, but quite far apart, so they glide easily through the hair. They are also easy to clean. My hair is fine, but there is a lot of it, so I like to use a detangling brush to get rid of any large knots. This brush does this well, while giving the scalp a nice massage with the bristles.

Although the original TanglePro will always be my favourite, this brush is a great alternative for when you are on the go and need something smaller for your purse.

Thanks Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to try this brush out. I have to admit when it first arrived I didn’t hold out much hope that it would de tangle my hair but oh I was definitely wrong. It is a lightweight black plastic hair brush that looks like any other hair brush you might find at the pharmacy except that it has 2 large vents through the middle of it. The bristles are quite flexible so I’m not sure how it would work on really thick hair. I have very thin hair and this brush just glided through my hair just like a more expensive tangle brush would. It has a contoured shape which almost massages the scalp at the same time as brushing and works beautifully on wet and dry hair. My favourite thing about this brush is how easy it is to clean because of the vents. I hate loose hair in my brushes but never managed to get all the hair out after each use until I received this one. It literally just comes out of the brush with one hand so it looks clean after every use. This is my new favourite hair tool and would definitely recommend to anyone with finer or less thick hair. I would have given it 5 stars in each category but because it is more of a travel brush it may not be big enough for someone with a lot of hair. I was stoked to be selected for a trial team for this brush. I have fine, frizzy hair which tangles and breaks easily. Many brushes tend to cause unnecessary snapping of damaged ends, and I'm pleased to report that this is not one of them. I like it so much that I haven't even picked up my Tangle Teezer since the Mita TanglePro turned up!

The bristles are long, soft and bendy, which is great to avoid snagging in both wet and dry hair. I noticed significantly less hair fall out/hair left in brush using the Mita TanglePro 3D over my other brushes. The bendable bristles feel pleasantly massaging against your scalp. The best part for me is that my hair feels SO soft after brushing.

It's also compact and super lightweight, making it the perfect on the go, handbag brush (a necessity, when a windy day leaves me looking like I've crawled out of a well!).
