Cussons Imperial Leather Body Wash Review

This is has to be one of the best smelling body washes I have ever purchased. It smells like exotic fruits and hibiscus and it really reminds me of a tropical island. The soap itself lathers well and is mild enough to use on my sensitive skin, it's leaves me feeling squeaky clean and smelling good. This product comes in a big 500ml bottle so would last at least a month in my household, good value for money. I love this range from Imperial Leather and will be looking to purchase a few more.

I bought this on the advice of my mother, who had it in her bathroom at the time. I love body wash, so I thought I would give it a go. I got mine for roughly $4, which is less than $1 per 100ml and in my books, is a bargain. The bottle is a generous 500ml and the product inside lasts ages, so it's really good value for money.

I bought the scent pomegranate and wild rose. Holy biscuits Batman. It's delicious. I think the rose was more powerful as a scent, but it is still divine. The red gel almost seems to shimmer with gold or silver flecks, though I'm positive there is no actual glitter or shimmer in the product.

You don't need much of the shower gel to get a good lather, and it leaves you smelling delicious and feeling clean. I used mine with shower gloves and it got really soapy, really fast.

One thing I really loved about this product was that I could use it as a bubble bath. A lot of shower gels you can use as bubble bath, but the bubbles disappear within minutes. These bubbles stayed the entire duration of the bath, and then some. It was glorious, and I'd purchase this again just to have more delicious bubble baths!

I purchase this a few months back and have just hit the bottom of the bottle, it has lasted me ages.

It lathers up beautifully and you don't need much, works great in a bubble bath too.

Leaves the skin, feeling clean and nourish.

At first i was obsessed with the smell it was gorgeous, quite sweet but also musky at the same time After a couple of weeks, I had a love hate relationship with this smell, I don't know if it's a hormonal thing or the smell just became too sickly.

Great body wash, but don't think i will buy this particular scent again

Genius girl here, who has about a dozen shower gels in the cupboard, managed to go away for a week without one. My first stop was at the supermarket, where this was on special for a crazy $3. The scents appealed, so I gave it a go. I haven't used this brand since the old school days of the Japanese Cherry Blossom and Rice Milk scents (anyone else remember those?) which I loved. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's still pretty good quality, especially for such a cheap price.

I picked up the Summer Bliss fragrance, which is Mango Butter and Frangipani. It's a subtly sweet scent with less of the frangipani than the mango, and it's a pretty soft orange shade. It vibes tropical and sunny, which is nice at this time of year.

The bottles are generous, but (and this is just me I think) I feel like the lid looks like an afterthought and is too small. I think I'd prefer to see a pump on it, or at least some nod to functionality in the bottle.

The product is the most important bit though, especially in this price range - and this is a good product.

The gel is very thick, but has a smooth and creamy consistency, spreading well even with a small amount and lathering nicely. This makes it effective and value for money; two things that you can't really go wrong with. Add into the mix the pleasant scent, and it's really worth trying.

I did find that I got about halfway through the large bottle (500 ml) and was kinda over it, so switched to using it as handwash, which I found just as nice.

I just couldn't pin point, it was odd to say the least. Loved the green colour of the body wash. It lathered very well on a puff, how ever not on a flannel. It dried my skin out. After a few tries I tried it for my children. My son said is smelt like cat pee (sorry but being honest). Yet my daughter liked it, especially when she turned it into a bubble bath. over all didn't rate this product very high, very disappointed

I went into my local countdown to pick up a couple of items. I always go down the health and beauty aisle. I just can't help myself. I needed a new body wash and I was looking at different bottles hesitating as per usual. Is was quite funny there was another lady there doing the exact same thing.

I remember Cussons growing up. Mum would buy their soaps. So I am familiar with this Brand. I enjoyed their soaps, but their not selling them anymore.

This Body comes in a 400 ml bottle. What attracted me was this teal coloured liquid that's visible through this bottle. Teals my favourite colour, so I was instantly drawn in. On the bottle it says it's a Limited Edition. The texture of it is a thick liquid soap. Its quite opaque. The smell is like a cocktail of exotic fruits. It smells very nice.

When I applied this to my skin it felt very smooth. I found it easy to lather up. One pump of this gel managed to cover my body well. I paid full price at $6.50. I would love try more scents from this range. One bottle has got me through a couple of weeks so far. Great product to try.

As always when at the supermarket I take my usual detour down the beauty aisle and what caught my eye about this product was the colour, that gorgeous bright blue. So I picked it up in Blue Lagoon I believe its called which has a smell of Guava which is now since using this one of my favourite scents. I got it on special for $4 which I thought was great as the bottle is quite big (500ml) so will keep me going for ages. I just use my hands with body washes and it still lathers great, I use it as well to shave my legs and it hasn't given me shaving rash which for me is rare to find. The packaging is nice clear bottle with a pretty but simple label and a silver push down spout top. I never knew Cussons made body wash, but I had been using their bar soaps for years. Very nice for the price, can't wait to try some more scents.

Smells amazing, left my skin feeling amazing, and felt good to use, the only down side being the container, which was a crappy hard plastic and once you get towards the end it's a bit hard to get the excess out.

Absolute value for money. 500mls for just $6.50 at your supermarket. You will spot this gorgeous teal coloured body wash on the shelves and it will be hard to resist. I use a puff in the shower and with just a little bit of this will lather and bubble up and leave you feeling and smelling fabulous. I think the only thing they could do to make it better is to put a pump on it as it is quite a large bottle and when it is wet it can be a bit of a struggle to pour some out, but I managed.

It is available in different scents so I will be definitely trying other ones.

This is a gorgeous body wash and comes in an exciting range of beautiful fragrances. Its usually $5.99 that I've seen but sometimes I have got it for $3.99 on special so brilliant value for money! I love the packaging and there is a colour to go with every bathroom if that is what is important to you. You only need a little for a luxurious lather and it leaves your skin smelling fantastic. I will be using this again for sure!
