Lush Vanillary Solid Perfume Review

I love this one so much. The scent is just gorgeous and lasts a long time. A definite go to! The little jars lasts a long time too.

Lush has beautiful scents and this is a great example. Long lasting real vanilla smell. Only a small amount is needed so it lasts along time.

I absolutely love vanilla . I took the plunge and picked this one up. I wanted to see if I would like solid perfume . I’m a lush fan . Always have been a fan but there is some hits and misses amongst them .

This comes in what looks to me like a small lip balm tin . It’s a solid creamy texture with specs of what I think is vanilla bean (I’m not sure just a guess here) It didn’t smell like vanilla to me . It smells more musky floral vanilla tone . I’m used to sweet vanilla scent . I used to put this all over and it lasts for a little while on me but fades. Not overpowering at all.

After using it , I can say I wouldn’t ever do solid perfume like this again . One being it’s melts in hot weather. Two it’s not the kind of sweet vanilla scent that I enjoy . If your into musky floral vanilla you’ll like this one.

Vanillary is my favourite perfume out of the Lush perfume collection. This solid perfume comes in a 12g cute circular tin and the vanilla bean is very visible in this perfume. It smells very delicious and exactly how vanilla smells.

The perfume is very smooth, like a very solid body butter. I just use a finger to rub the solid perfume onto my skin. I rub it onto my pulse points on my wrists and neck. I can smell it on me for most of the day, but I reapply it every so often throughout. It’s the perfume thing to carry in my bag as I find perfume bottles are annoying to carry.

I believe this is a great alternative to the bottle perfumes, but it’s definitely not overpowering like most perfumes out there. People can’t smell this from a distance, but if they are very close.

Great alternative to perfume and is super affordable for a fragrance, Brought this alongside the Karma scent. Very strong, but nice deep vanilla scent - can be overpowering so wouldn't wear every day. Lasts long on the skin and easy to take along with you for top ups etc.

I love anything vanilla so thought I would purchase this. It comes in a cute little tin with a screw on lid so is great for popping in my handbag. It smells kind of weird when you sniff it from the tin and when you first apply it, in fact I dislike the smell for the first half an hour then it changes into vanilla-caramel goodness! I find it lasts on me for ages, I only need to apply once and can still smell it 8 hours later. Great price and a good amount of perfume. Will repurchase when I run out but as I only wear it every few days I think it will last me a long time :-)

This solid perfume is fairly sweet and the burnt caramel and vanilla scents do come through but I find it a little too floral in scent once the top notes start wearing off. I wish the vanilla scent stuck around longer.However, the tin is really pretty with the little floral design on top and it looks super cute with all the little vanilla beans peaking through the buttery looking mixture once opened. An almost perfect product!

I nearly gave this one a miss because I was busy filling my baskets with bubble bars and bath bombs. So the niece came over with Sikkim and asked me to help her to choose a perfume and I ended up with one too.

It comes in a little tin pot with twist top. The perfume itself is light buttery color. It is very creamy and not too hard. Infact if you keep swirling your fingers over it it will warm up and than can be easily applied. I put it on my neck, behind ears and inner elbow. Since I couldnt smell how long it lasted I put some on my daughter to test (made me want to gobble her up!). Lasted seven hours plus. The scent was subtler now.

In terms of the scent, it says its got vanilla in it but its unlike any vanilla I have ever smelled. Could smell that burned caramelly scent and jasmine. Gave me nostalgia but cant really recall what it reminded me of.

A good buy and will get others in the range.
