I’ve got 3 colours and they’re so very pretty and dreamy! The packaging is a luxurious glass jar, however the writing on the lid could stay in a bit longer, but my makeup bag is probably not the best place to keep them if I wanted to keep them in mint condition. The colours I’ve got is oyster pearl, pillow talk and Amber gold, they’re all truly beautiful and show up very pretty on the eyes. They’re a little darker than the online pictures on Mecca’s site, but I don’t mind as I was actually scared that oyster pearl would be too light for my skin to show up, but it turned out to be my favourite. I apply these all over my lid and quickly blend some colour up in the crease and it looks so good and only takes a minute to do both eyes, I’m a huge fan of one and done shadows and these deliver. They dry down pretty fast and last almost a whole day for me, it really depends how hot the weather is, it can crease a little towards the end of the day, but I just fix that quickly with a brush to blend back and done. I can only recommend these, they’re really good, I’d love to get more colours but I have a lot of makeup to use at the moment.

Tips: Use a finger to apply on the lid and only blend with a brush in the crease quickly. It doesn’t pack well on a brush, can get patchy and dry too fast!
I bought this in the colour Champagne and while it definitely isn’t the most affordable product I didn’t mind spending $45 for a cream shadow because of how long the swatch stayed on without budging on the back of my hand. It is the most perfect champagne colour that goes well with any makeup look and would suit most skin tones. I use a light eyeshadow as a base and it seems to stay put better than just applying it to a bare lid. I use my finger to apply it but you could use a brush . Mecca has about 6 shades but I believe there are more shades available on the Charlotte Tilbury site. I already have my eye on a few other shades mostly for those days when I’m in a rush but still want some colour on my eyes. I can’t recommend these gorgeous wee pots of colour enough.
I bought Veruschka, packaged in a frosted glass jar, from Beautylish for approximately NZD$40+. It's a muted mix of moss / fern green which has enough shimmer suitable for both day and night looks.
The product has a whipped-like consistency which I feel is better applied with the fingers. The flaw in this application is that there is no precision but in using a brush it tends to leave indentations which needs a bit more effort to smooth out. The good thing about this product is that it goes on sheer so you can build up the intensity creating a beautiful pop of shiny colour.
However I don't like this cream shadow because of the long drying time, slippage and lack of lasting power. It has a wet formula which unfortunately takes long to dry - if at all! I find it best to apply thin layers (and even then you have to sheer it out) in order for the product to somewhat dry down.
Since it doesn't completely dry, slippage is another issue where the product tends to move or transfer, particularly if adding other shadows on top. Once I manage to get past the dry down and the slippage to create a smokey moss / fern green look the worst part happens - it starts to break away around the 4 hours mark. Ive tried this without a primer and the product was gone in 4 hours; with primer it just manages to hold on for 6 hours however the shadows on top have completely gone.
I only use this product if I'm wearing makeup for a short while but I think you can safely give this product a miss because there are other cream shadows out there that perform better and a friendlier on the pocket.
Tips: On top of a primer, apply a thin layer then allow a few minutes to dry before applying another thin layer to help build intensity but also to help push the wear out.
Charlotte Tilbury's Eyes to Mesmerise in the shade "Pillow Talk" is sheer magic in a pot. It's a dreamy cream eyeshadow that adds a touch of elegance to any look. The soft, pinky-mauve hue is incredibly flattering and versatile, making it a fantastic choice for both everyday wear and special occasions. The texture is creamy and smooth, making it easy to apply and blend, either with your fingers or a brush. What's impressive is its long-lasting power; it doesn't crease or smudge, ensuring your eye makeup stays impeccable throughout the day. Pillow Talk Eyes to Mesmerise is an absolute must-have for anyone seeking a fuss-free, stunning eye look with a touch of romance.
