Lord of Misrule scent or LOR is no doubt one of Lush's scents that you either L.O.V.E or hate. One bathbomb in a Christmas gift pack (although part of their Halloween line) and I was hooked (I just want aware of its name or cult following). The scent is of (in my opinion) intense spice and pepper and very warming.
The shower cream is packaged in clear flip top bottle. It is also a handmade product in batches and they tell and show you who made it.
Product itself is thicker than other shower gels in the range and a deep green. I found it non drying and scent lingered for hours on my skin. It does lather fairly well so does last pretty well which is great as Lush isnt exactly cheap or overly accessable for a lot of people.
This product for me due to its release and smell is all things Xmas and I cant get enough. #❤LOR
Let me get this straight to start off with: I absolutely haaaaaaate the smell of patchouli. Loathe the stuff! It's one of those smells you either love or hate. To me it smells like unwashed hippies. So I should hate this as well, as it is patchouli based. But somehow I don't. Lord of Misrule is indeed mischievous and mysterious. To my nose, the patchouli is balanced out by the black pepper which rounds it out and warms it, with vanilla adding sweetness.
This is a Halloween release, hence it is a shower "scream" (Lush do love their puns!) It's is also bight emerald green in colour. This may be off putting to some but not this (almost) Halloween baby. It comes in the usual Lush bottle and I just got the smallest 100ml size. I find I tend to go off a lot of Lush smells when I get the larger bottles so I stick to the small size for ones I'm a bit unsure of. This has lasted me nearly two years as I have to be in the mood to use it. My bottle is past the expiry date but I find Lush shower gels last way past this, so long as you store them out of direct sunlight. It still works as well and smells the same as when I purchased it. LOM is due to be released again for this Halloween and I will be grabbing some more, so long as it can get it in the smaller bottle.
