Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear Light SPF 30+

My skin is super dry, super pale, and can be very sensitive, and this cream works for me - and evens out my skin tone as a nice bonus too :)

Re dryness: In summer I wear it over serum, and it's moisturising enough, but in winter I layer it with both serum and a moisturiser underneath, and that's perfect.

Re pale skin: The 'Light' colour is a perfect match for my pale, neutral-toned skin and looks very natural. A big win for me, as I often find even 'light' colours too dark for me - or too pink, or too yellow...

Re sensitivity: I have reacted to so many so-called 'sensitive' sunblocks, but with this one, there's absolutely, categorically, no stinging of skin or eyes. None. It's just pure comfort. Such a relief!

Re coverage: The coverage is exactly as it says on the packaging - quite sheer - but it does give me an overall more even-looking tone, and with a few dabs of concealer to cover darker sunspots, my skin looks natural but better. For more coverage, I layer some liquid foundation over the top while it's still 'wet' - or mix a few drops of my foundation into it before applying. I find that works really well.

I use the word 'wet' deliberately... When I first tried this, I was aghast! It is quite a thick cream and it does look oily on skin when first applied. But after five or ten minutes, it mattes down to a very natural finish, which I love. And it's pure mineral sunblock - no nasty chemicals. Brilliant.

I have extremely fair skin and I have been using this under my foundation. It is labelled as tinted but it doesn't deliver on this description. It is not replacing your bb cream or foundation but it saves your skin so it gets a big tick from me! It feels thicker than regular sunscreen and applies like a primer (how I use it).

I love this stuff. It's affordable and does everything I need it to do for daily wear. SPF and a light tint means that I know I have protection and a little colour to my complexion. It easily layers under foundation too!

I've heard lots of good things about the Invisible Zinc range so I had to try some on this summer. I picked the Light shade as the other shade looked too dark for me. Very thick and goopy and felt worse than my actual sunscreen. This made my skin look like a shiny oily mess. I couldn't wait to get it off my face at the end of the day. I think my skin looks better without this. The SPF is a big plus but I think I will rather stick to using my high SPF sunscreen and BB crème for the summer. This was a huge let down especially as I had surprisingly good results with my Daily Face tinted moisturiser.

I first tried this product when I was in Melbourne a few years ago, and really liked it. Unfortunately when I got back to NZ it wasn't stocked here at that time. I'm pleased to see it's sellling here now.

I don't wear foundation often so this product was perfect for me as I'm not after a lot of coverage. I like natural looking tinted moisturisers/bb creams, so I really loved the glow this gave my skin.

It does leave a slightly greasy residue, so if your skin is oily it might not be suitable. I have combination skin which is oily around the t/zone and I still didn't mind the feel of it. It feels more like a sunscreen on your skin even though it has tint and foundation.

It gives complete sun block so you won't get burnt, and I love the fact that it only uses zinc oxide which is a natural mineral from the earth; so it's not a chemical concoction.

Overall I really like this product and will definitely use again, especially in the summer months as I prefer to go almost makeup free (can't ditch the mascara lol).

I got some of this in my Lust Have It subscription box and wasn't sure what to think of it. I love the fact that is has a high SPF of 30 in it as I burn really easily due to my light skin tone. I felt it gave me the protection that I needed and I loved the sheer glow it gave me. Now, if you're looking for an SPF sunscreen that also gives coverage, then I'm afraid this would be the wrong product. Its a tinted moisturiser not a full coverage foundation, which I was aware of before trying, so I wasn't disappointed when I found out what the coverage is like. The ingredients are great too. Its easy to apply and you don't need a lot of it. Unfortunately I got a dark colour but because this is more of a tint, it didn't make me look too dark.

I bought this at Countdown when there was a clearance and it was selling for under $5. I needed a sunscreen for my face and I hadn't tried it so I thought to give a go. It's very thick and greasy. Of course I'm known to well the recommended amount of sunscreen if I'm going to go outside so it wasn't the best product for me to use as I had little bumps on my face and if the skin around my nose was irritated due to hayfever it stung and around that time I got all these little bumps . I'm happy I got it cheaply as it's not the product for me. To it's credit however I didn't burn when I was wearing this but that's what sunscreen is supposed to do.
