I got this in the latest BBBE and was excited to try it as I have not tried the brand before. It is a small 40ml bottle with a very efficient pump top. The product is white and the thickness and texture of a lotion. What is a it scary is the sharp smell. The scent actually scared me initially because I thought it indicated a strength that may be a little burn-y. My fear was not completely unfounded either, as I find it causes spots on my nose. For the rest of my face however, it works well. It absorbs quickly and my face feels fresh and smooth after using it. The product claim is that the plant extracts penetrate deep into the cellular layer to protect and repair against free radical damage. I'm hoping I notice that it has done so by the time I completely empty the bottle! So far it seems pretty good and my skin does look good.
So while I do like the product, it is pricey for the size of the bottle. I probably would buy it on special though. I have tried a lot of serums and think this is one of the better ones.
I recommend giving it a try.
This came in a Best Beauty Box Ever and I was very curious to try it as Labonics is a brand that's new to me.
I really liked the packaging, and found the pump did a good job of helping me get the right amount of serum for my face (a pump and a bit).
The scent of the serum is very rosey - which I love - and it doesn't hang around on the skin (which I love even more).
The serum is a white lotion that spread easily and is quickly absorbed. After using it I apply an oil and a moisturiser, and since using it I've found I can cut back on the amount of oil and moisturiser I use as this is intensely hydrating but it doesn't leave your skin oily.
Since using this my husband has made comments about how good my skin is looking - this is the only change I've made to my skincare that I can attribute to this (the only other skincare I've used was an ill fated night moisturiser that I started using after this serum and it only lasted a few nights before being regulated to the no pile).
Would I buy it again? Yes. It's a good price, it'll last a goodly amount of time, and it's one of the few serums I've tried that make an obvious difference.
