I was on the lookout for a new skincare range. I tried the Essano rosehip range a few years ago which I didn't enjoy, but I liked the look of the new superfoods range so I purchased a sample set so I could give it a try. But unfortunately, this didn't work for me either.
The product has a nice scent and consistency. I think it smells quite nice and refreshing, and it's not too thick not too thin so easy to use. I also found that the little sample size I have has lasted me quite a while so a little goes a long way. Unfortunately I found it didn't quite soak into my skin that well and just sat on top. Because of that, it didn't really hydrate my skin, just left me feeling a bit oily and yuck.
I like that it's all natural and organic, but it just didn't work for me.
This lovely moisturiser comes in a twist top tube in the trial pack), which is the best way for cream to come, in my opinion - easy to access and use.
The product is a thick white cream, not the green colour I was worried about with kale in it! It has no discernable scent which is good, as the trademark rosehip scent of many Essano products is the only negative with their products for me.
When I apply it to my skin it is heaven. So lovely and soft and hydrating. And no irritation to my sensitive areas. Generally I don't go out of my way to use day moisturisers, as I much prefer oils or serums. but I would use this every day as it is so lovely on my skin.
I love that it is cruelty free, vegan and doesn't have parabens, and does have vege extracts and vitamins.
It is $24.99 on Essan's website for a 75ml bottle, and as you don't need to use much, this seems a very good price.
Tips: User twice daily after cleansing
