I am a huge fan of Nivea lip balms. This one doesn't come in as high on my list though. I first used this lip Balm when I was going out on a date. I love how the slight color it has is nearly natural. It suits my skin tone even when I'm wearing make up. Which is amazing because I find that not much suits me. The main let down with this product is the moisturizing effect. That only lasted around 20mins and then I had to re apply.

I love Nivea lipbalms and when i saw this on the shelf and i'd run out of pawpaw I thought this would do the trick. Sadly it just wasn't for me. The gloss was nice and subtle, nt sparkly like a kiddy drugstore product but the colour was just a washout. For the first 15minutes after you apply it feels great on your lips but after that it all seems to go to pasture. It clumps an forms tiny balls of roduct on your lips, making it feel like your lips are covered with sand, not fun!
Tips: Their other products are much much nicer!
I love Nivea lip balms, and I love lip stick, this was possibly the best idea I came across until I actually used it.
Firstly about the colour - Now I like to think that I'm that lucky person where every single lipstick colour suits me, and not to toot my own horn, but I'm not wrong there. That is until I used this. It has a pinky-nude almost coral colour to it with excessive, excessive amounts of shimmer. Not a fan of the shimmer aside, the colour made me look like a potato with makeup on. The colour made my skin appear yellower, not to mention my teeth! Crazy shade!
Then of course there is the moisturising aspect to it. Yup it feels wonderful when you first apply it. Silky smooth on the lips. But that happens to last only 10 minutes before my lips dry, crack and split. I find my self picking skin off my lips that are falling of like dried scabs. This has dried my lips out so much that my lips have actually started bleeding on two different occasions when I've worn this.
Definetly do not recommend. It is such a let down.
I bought this a long time ago when it was on special. I liked the idea of a moisturizing balm with a hint of color. I have this in my purse since it's easy and fail proof to apply, and sometimes I apply it over my existing lippy to give it a hint of shine. It doesn't have a lot of color to it as it's really sheer, frosty pink and if you want the color to stand out a bit you have apply several layers on. It does fade and it's not as moisturizing as lipbalm but it is more hydrating than lipstick and isn't sticky like lipgloss. I'll often color in my lips with a nude lipliner and then apply this over it to do a sort of nude lip. I wouldn't buy it again because I've found some tinted lip balms I like better. Overall it's good inexpensive product for a lippy junkie or good starter lip product for a preteen just starting out in the world of lippies or even for a child's collection.
Tips: I have a nude lip liner I color my lips in with and then layer this on top for a gorgeous slightly shimmery nude lip. I also find wearing lip liner underneath helps the color last long and brings out the shimmer a bit more.
I brought the Nivea lip care pearl and shine when my lips were extremely dry and chapped. I found due to the damaged skin sitting on top of my lips this balm initially dried the skin out more. Once I exfoliated my lips, this balm became my go to day and night to maintain soft luscious lips. The light colouring and shimmer makes this product perfect for everyday wear.
Tips: When exfoliating your face don't forget your lips like myself, this helps the balm deeply condition and live up to it's promise.
I was so keen to try this lip balm, every girl loves a good lip balm right!
Sadly very let down. It certainly looks the part and is very pretty but I didn't find it moisturised my lips at all. It actually made them fell even more dried out..which in turn made the shimmer look horrible on dried lips.
The colour is pretty but I wouldn't say it is conditioning at all
I love this. Its shinny pink colour is amazing and looks great on, i love the flavour and i apply it after after every meal i have and its amazing. I use it everyday. I love it.
Love the shimmery pink shine that this product gives. Its not really that great at conditioning, and I dont think it is long lasting. Its more of a gloss than a treatment, so wouldnt expect much more than that from it. It feels nice on the lips though, and looks great.
Well, I adore this lip balm as it definitely does what it say/claims to do... Keeping your smackers soft, pink, moisturized and gorgeous. I love this as it keeps my lips so soft that I tell my sister about them all the time. :D Would I recommend this product to a friend or someone else, well yes of course, I would if they wanted a sweet, pretty pink, soft lip balm that does keep your kissers moisturized. I would definitely use this again, I was so impressed when I first used it, that it would be my go to Lip Balm. <3 I love it. And another bonus to it, Its Cruelty Free!!! :O :D
Tips: Well, a good tip to keep your lips soft and crack free, put a generous amount on before you go to bed, this will help them be as soft as a fluffy white cloud for when you awake from your slumber in the morning. <3 :D
I really liked this lip balm but it dried out quite fast as for me i am someone who does not reapply lip balm frequently through out the day so this didn't really achieve my long lasting moisture goal but i definitely recommend this to people who like apply lip balm frequently and like the pearly shine because the lip balm it's self really does have a beautiful pink glow to it!
Tips: Try not to apply too many layers of it or else the colour will be quite intense, unless you are willing to use it for a lipstick type of just build up the amount of layers you put on!
