: easy instructions, exfoliated area with one side and then hold strips between hands – like praying for an easy wax peeled apart & then applied. Worked extremely well – good hair removal, usual waxing pain. The after wax wipe were fantastic at reducing the sing! Any residual wax was easily removed by the oil wipes as well. It was quite odd holding the strips to warm them as the other side was the side to exfoliate.
But really who cares – they worked at removing hair! Using the strips to exfoliate between waxes? that's a bit odd - where and how am I going to keep used wax strips? Good idea, not practical!
I've never waxed before in my life, so I expected it to be painful, leave me with a rash (as shaving usually does) but not with this product.
The strips come in a simple white and bright coral pink box. The instructions on the back are incredibly detailed, which made it very easy for me as a beginner. 20 wax strips are included, but they are reusable so I feel like that's plenty for the price. It also comes with 4 post wax calming oil wipes, which was a nice touch, although I'd have preferred it to have come with more.
The strips have a delicious pomegranate scent, which makes the waxing process more enjoyable. I love how the outside of the strips could be used to exfoliate the leg, as this saved time having to exfoliate in the shower. You are supposed to rub the strips between your palms to warm the wax. I found this a bit odd, as the outside of the strips are exfoliating, so you end up exfoliating your hands as well, but the strips aren't very harsh so my hands were fine. The wax warmed up very quickly. They were easy enough to pull apart.
I liked how each strip was actually two joined together and how they were reusable. I found one strip could be reused about 4 times, so these seem very economical.
I found this easily removed my hair, without me having to pull very hard, so this wasn't very painful at all. When my leg hair was around 2mm these were very efficient to use and removed all hair, with the results lasting 4 weeks! That kind of result almost made me give up shaving forever, however waxing is still a bit too time consuming for me.
While the strips are really wide, there is only a thin strip of wax so it takes forever to wax one whole leg, and I'm too impatient for that. When my hair was longer on my legs, these didn't remove all the hairs as much but when shorter, all hairs were removed. I have super sensitive skin, and while this left my legs red and splotchy at first, this didn't last longer than 12 hours. The post wax calming wipes were nice as they helped remove residual wax.
Overall, these provided great results, were quite painless and worked well. I found these gentler on my skin than shaving but waxing is time consuming so I'd purchase again when I know I have more time to use them.
Tips: This works best on hair around 2mm, it doesn't remove as well on hair that's about 5mm long.
