My mom gave me this product to use as she felt this was causing her eyes to water. Usually my eyes don't react to products but for some reason even applying the product at least 1 cm away from my eyes, my eyes still sting and water. The glitter in this product is quite weird as well and I'm not sure of their purpose. The gel like consistency feels nice on application but often the next morning , dried gel flakes off when I touch the skin around my eye area. Not impressed, am probably going to throw this in the bin.

I received this free from Flybuys, I think it is normally around $60 for 30g. This is a shiny, almost translucent gel, not a cream. The smell I do not like, unusual. Absorbs quickly into skin and a tiny amount t goes a long way. Haven't noticed a lot of difference in lines but maybe a small reduction in dark circles. Skin felt soft and hydrated though. Would not purchase again, mostly because of the weird scent.
I had been keeping this for quite some time, it was one of the products in the Incredible eyes Best beauty box ever box, being a Dr lewinns fan I had a high expectation on how well this eye cream would perform. It was packaged in a sleek white box, the 30g plastic pot was filled to the top in this halo looking gel.
Using my finger I would lightly dip the tip of my finger into the gel and that would be enough product to massage into each under eye. The gel is quite thick and creates a soothing sensation as soon as the gel touches the skin, after a few seconds it leaves a sticky feeling before it absorbs into nothing. The gel gives an instant pick me up, the fine lines reduce to about 50% and the dark circles become none existent. This has been helping reduce the puffiness in my eyes from hay fever.
I have been using this for 3 weeks and have not seen an improvement in the fine lines under my eyes and forehead. It is only when I apply the eye cream that I notice results which are instant but no long term results. I enjoy how quickly the gel soothes my under eyes and relieves the puffiness but am a little disappointed that it hasn't changed my fine lines.
I wont be purchasing this in the future.
I got this eye cream in the Staff Picks BBBE and I was keen to try it as I'd heard other people say they liked it, and I knew it was pretty pricey.
It comes in a cute white cardboard box with a pink lid and Dr Lewinns branding - attractive and pretty. Inside, a surprisingly small, white, pot holds the actual product.
The product itself is more gel-like and less of a cream. It is kind of silky-shiny-simmery-transparent all at the same time.
Once applied, it is refreshingly cool and absorbs very quickly. I really like the initial cool feeling. I have to say though, after using it for a while, I haven't really noticed any difference in my eyes. I really wanted to, and hoped I would, but I really can't see any changes. It hasn't reduced/revived any lines nor reduced any puffiness, nor firmed anything, as the product claims to do, so apart from enjoying the cooling feeling when the product is applied, it hasn't impressed me.
The instructions say to use sparingly and I have, so the pot will last for ages, but that's not really a bonus if it isn't doing anything. It has Vitamin A and collagen and elastin, so I thought it would do something - maybe it takes a lot longer than a few weeks to notice a difference or maybe it just doesn't work so well for more mature skin. Either way, I'll use it to the end of the pot, but I won't be repurchasing it.
I got this in the Incredible Eyes BEBB, it was one of the products which made the box so easy to purchase & then glad I had. The 'cream' is more of a shimmery gel. I apply it after moisturising my whole face by dabbing it with a make-up spatula around my eyes and letting it soak in at night. Really feels like luxury with the shimmer and thicker texture. A little bit is all I use, and so the jar will last me ages! I think i might start using it day and night. I dont really suffer from puffy tired looking eyes (in my opinion) but I am finding it reasonably effective on my fine lines. It wouldnt surprise me if this jar lasted me a whole year as I have been using it for over a month now, every night and barely made a dent!
Great value for money - even if the initial outlay may seem high.
I got this in the Incredible Eyes BBBE.
Packaging-wise, it has a very clinical look, in a white tub with Dr Lewinn's written on it.
Inside is a clear gel/cream formula with a gold shimmer. It looks very pretty and inviting.
The formula was thicker and more sticky than I expected, but it still applies just as easily to the face as a normal eye cream.
Once on, it takes a few minutes to dry and feels like it has a slight firming sensation.
Ingredients-wise, overall it looks pretty good. I'm not sure if I would repurchase at that price, but I'll enjoy it while I've got it.
Wow! I have just slid over the mid thirties and have never used a wrinkle or an eye cream. I ordered a beauty box for my birthday and this product was in it. The reasons I have never used a wrinkle product was because I have always been sceptical of them. But I had read somewhere that if a product didn't contain vitamin A then it wouldn't do a darn thing. THIS cream does contain Vitamin A! So I thought i'd give it a go. As soon as I applyed the cream it started to work! The cooling effect started making the skin under my eyes come back to a good colour and the little wrinkles I have started getting under my eyes were disappearing as the cream dried and tightened. It dried pretty quickly and I could apply my foundation on top and the puffy saggy eyes that once were, were almost completely gone. Flash forward a couple of weeks and the tiny wrinkles are even tinier and I still apply the cream every morning to heal puffy eyes ( I really should just get more sleep). You only have to use the tiniest amount so this tub will last for ages.
Tips: My tub didn't come with any instructions so I just dabbed a small amount under my eyes and took it up and out to the crows feet area.
I got this in my BBBE and was excited to try it as it is something that would normally be well out of my price range. It is to be used sparingly so the little pot is going to last a long time! It has a lovely light texture, like a gel rather than a cream. When you apply it, it does have a nice cooling feel and it is absorbed quickly. I do feel like it has helped with my 'tired eyes' but as for the fine lines - perhaps I need to use it for a little longer before I see any difference. Overall, a lovely, light product that won't damage the delicate eye area.
I love the look and feel of this product. I do enjoy putting it on, BUT I'm not so sure it really does anything. I have lines under my eyes and they definitely have not improved due to this product. The skin itself may be more healthy, but visually there is no change. I wanted it to work because I like the feel of the product when I put it on, but it just hasn't done anything...
I'm not too sure where I came across this and it's the only Dr Lewinns product I have ever used. I can't see me trying anything in their range after this either I'm afraid.
The eye cream is nicely presented in a white pot with a screw off lid and the gel inside is very holo and looks amazing, with a very pleasant faint scent to it. It's very easy to apply and for me, I find it takes a few minutes to absorb. I've used this for about 3-4 weeks but am yet to notice any type of improvements or hydration at all, my skin is 42 years old and I really need the hydration, which this just doesn't give me. The killer for me has been the way it stings my eyes after application. When I use it I need to stand there or go and lie down and close my eyes for a few minutes while it absorbs. I'm really not sure what could be in it that I react to as it doesn't have the smell you would associate with a product that would sting. My eyes aren't particularly sensitive as far as I know and I have even tried going a lot further out from my eyes but it's still the same.
I'm actually at the point now where I'm just going to dispose of it as I can't take the stinging anymore.
Tips: Be wary if you have sensitive eyes.
