e.l.f Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I don't know what it is about this product, but it gives great coverage and highlights my skin where I put the product. The only let down was that it made my skin itchy as hell!! And drove me nuts, I've used this 4 times since I bought it and that's pretty much everyday since, I really want to love it because its such a good concealer, but i'm really hating how its make me scratch my face :(

This is the only make up product that has made me feel like this, and it is super weird haha. Im not sure if its because of all the sun over here in Gold Coast, or if my skins not interacting well with the product.

But I really love it!! hahah weirdly enough!

My personal opinion is, try it for yourself, so you can get your own opinion on the product, as mine is still up in the air, whether I love the look and can handle the itchiness.

Its a love hate relationship here ahha.

I bought this off iherb, and I'm glad I did, as I would have been pretty dissapointed if I had to pay $6.99 for this, don't get me wrong. For a day-to-day concealer it works great for my needs to run a few errands in town or go to playcentre with my daughter, but if I had an office job and needed it to stay all day, I would give it a miss.

The packaging is fine, for $1.99 it does the job, it is very light, but I like that the little vial that they come in are plastic so its good to know it will stand up to a fall or thrown about in a handbag.

No perfume to it, which is good as around the eye area, I can get very sensitive and sore eyes.

The highlighter is a white liquid with slight shimmer, it isn't very pigmented but works okay for a brow bone highlight.

The concealer is good to cover up my under eye circles, just pat it around with my ring finger and set it with a translucent powder and it does the trick. It isn't very long lasting though maybe 4-5 hours maximum.

I am a loyal "ELFIE" but they missed the target with this one. This stuff literally does nothing. The liquid is runny and pretty much see-through so covering dark circles is obviously not happening there, if you want a bit of coverage four layers would probably be needed. It creases so bad, I look ten years older was shocked to see all those lines it sunk into. It's cheap yes but I wouldn't bother spending money on this. As with most elf products there is little product in the container. Sadly, I don't have anything good to say about this one.

I went out and purchased this as soon as e.l.f. came to Kmart in NZ and was really disappointed. I was looking for a good concealer for my under eyes as I hadn’t got to the point of being comfortable highlighting yet. The concealer has very little coverage and I have found is only good to put over another concealer to brighten it a bit further but on its own it doesn’t do it for me. The highlighter I have been using as an eye shadow base and it works well when I am using bright colours to bring them out but I don’t find myself reaching for this often unfortunately.

Love the highlighter but not really a fan of the concealer as it's a bit too dark for me. I use it when I feel like having a dewy base and I apply the highlight to the tops of my cheekbones and my cupids bow. I find that it's more subtle than a powder highlight and it looks beautiful and natural. It's super cheap as well, I buy mine off iherb for like $3 and it's totally worth it. It has a doe foot applicator which I find really helpful when applying to my cheekbones as it doesn't apply too much.

I was on the look out for a good highlighting product to use under my eyes, so I picked this up at my local Kmart. The highlighter does a good job at brightening up my under eye circles - I put it on in a bit of a triangular shape and blend it in, and it looks good. It doesn't settle into my under eye lines, unlike many others. The highlighter can be use on the lids as a bit of a primer as it dries matte - I wouldn't usually do it but it's good if you're travelling.

Unfortunately, the concealer isn't great. It's very runny, so can't easily cover a raised pimple or troublesome spots. It's okay for flat skin or minor blemishes, but can't be counted on to do anything for the tough spots. I've used it when I've been travelling but I'd rather use something else.

i found this very a very light conceler for under my eyes - too light actually. it made me look washed out & even more tired and the bags even more noticable than before - wont be buying this again.

I brought this from the elf website for $3 when it arrived I was stoked to be trying this product as I have read reviews so was curioious to see how it matches up to other brands. Any way The highlighter is highly pigmented and creates a great illusion of brightness(sparkle) to the face especially to the eyebrow area. As for the concealer I wasnot impressed at all it doent hide any dark circles under my eye or any blemishes on the face and found it like a runny paste gone wrong. The applicator is a lip gloss wand. Overall the highlighter is good but I wont be using the concealer again.

I brought this little sucker from KMART for pennies! I was very excited about having a double product, conceal and highlight all in one and being ELF, even more super excited to try it out.

The highlighter, first off is AMAZING, it is on level par with Watts up from Benefit in my honest opinion.

And that is the best part of the concealer. I tried this concealer under my eyes and on blemishes.

I found it did not hide my under eye circles well enough without caking on layers of the product which eventually creased on me.

I think the product is perhaps a little to watery and if it was thicker the end result might be a little better :)

However for the price it truly is amazing and great for anyone starting out or wanting to buy cheaper alternatives :)

This product I bought in my own little elf haul when I had a little spree on iHerb..

Loved it when I first purchased it, especially because it had both concealer and Highlighter.. However, I found a few problems.

Problem 1-The concealer side is SO messy! I dunno if it was just me, but somehow the concealer seems to bunch up on the top of the applicator where you screw it back on, and then your concealer just goes everywhere and it's just a waste of product and also, not fun..

Problem 2- The lightest shade is not that light. I am not that pale, but also not very tanned. But when I chose the lightest shade, it perfectly matches my skin tone. While this would work well with covering blemishes, it's not so good for under eye concealing, as I prefer that concealer to be lighter..

Problem 3- It doesn't cover blemishes very well, you can still see them and it does not hide or help to help my under eye circles at all. It also clings to dry spots on my face :(

However the great thing about this product, in my opinion is the highlighter! I love it for under my brow bone, and you don't get very much product on the applicator either so it's easy to apply without going overboard. Plus it's three dollars so who can go wrong!! I would recommend to a newbie kind of audience, if you're still experimenting, or if your a younger teen and not sure about make up quite yet!
