Essano Coconut Milk Hydrating Leave-in Conditioner Review

I have been an avid Essano fan right from the beginning when they only had a few products in their range. My hair tends to be quite dry and I need something a bit extra than normal conditioner to keep it in check and not too fluffy. I thought I would give the Essano Leave-in conditioner a try and I really, really like it. One pump is the perfect amount for my hair and I apply it when my hair has been towel dried after washing it in the shower. The product is the same sort of consistency as normal conditioner but my hair soaks it up really well. After a few minutes and when my hair is dry there's no tell-tale sign that I've used a leave in conditioner. This product conditions my hair without making it oily and heavy, my natural wavy/curlyness has only been enhanced which shows me that my hair is liking this product and isn't being weighed down by it. I love the scent, it's slightly coconutty but not overly so, just the right amount. The packaging fits well with the other array of Essano products I already have and is a great size for travelling. The pump screws down to be secured so could be transported without it going everywhere. I will be sticking with this for a while.

I'm having a wee love affair with coconut scents atm and this basically imbues my hair with the most gorgeous tropical scent!

The pump action is super easy to use in the morning, and the bottle is well designed and attractive.

A small blob of the conditioner, worked through hair, helps with hydration and shine, as well as that scent.

My bottle does me ages, and i'm now nearly at the bottom of my current one, so back on the shopping list it goes - I absolutely love it.

If it has anything with the word coconut I will buy it and when I saw Essano had a Leave in conditioner with coconut milk I couldn't purchase this fast enough.

The pump didn't function so I have to untwist the lid and kind of spill the conditioner onto my hand each time I need to use it. Not a big deal until Im at the end of the bottle and I cant get the rest out, its like a sauce bottle dilemma.

The conditioner smells incredible! Gives me those Malibu vibes for sure! The formula is thick like a hair mask, After washing my hair I would rub a dollop through my ends and in my mid section, it would give my hair a nice wave to it once it dries. If I add it to my hair when its dry its harder to dispense through my ends leading it to a strange mess. It didn't hydrate my hair which I was surprised about as I do adore Essano products.

Will I repurchase again? No I wont be, the smell is delicious but its not worth it if the product doesn't do what its supposed to do.

I am usually a huge fan of Essano but this product does not float my boat. It does smell absolutely divine, and the pump bottle is super handy. It didn’t do much for my hair at all. My hair is waist length, highlighted, and I very rarely use heat on it. It didn’t smooth and defrizz my hair.

I was using this regularly until I went to the hairdresser to get my highlights redone and she said that the foils had expanded slightly due to the chemical reaction happening. I had put this product in my hair the day before, and it was the only thing new I had been using so maybe bare this in mind if you are bleaching your hair

I actively sought out this product and purchased it online for $10. I have been enjoying using Essano products this year and had high hopes for this product. I have been using this one for the last few weeks.

Firstly, the pump wouldn't work and I have had to resort to pouring the product onto my hands. Annoying. It smells lovely as do the rest of the products in the range. Lightweight formula, easy to disperse through the ends of hair.

End result: Looks really nice after initial application, however does not last long. My hair is thick curly/wavy and long so just absorbs this so fast. My hair is also difficult to deal with afterwards. Its so full of knots.

I will use up the rest of it, but would not repurchase.

I love anything coconut, the scent makes me happy! So putting it in my hair is a no brainer. I love the packaging. A simple pump which is easy to use and dispense the perfect amount.

I only use this after washing my hair. I pump a small blob into my hands then rub them together and massage throughout my hair. Brush through then dry.

It definitely makes my hair feel soft and hydrated. Really helps get rid of the frizz! It smells so good and I love getting whiffs of it during the day.

I think it is a nice leave in conditioner however it isn't my favourite and I have used better ones. Therefore I probably wouldn't purchase again.

LOVE the bottle and packaging. Pump give you the exact amount you need so you don't waste it. My hair is very damaged from both bleaching and from heat tools. Nice thick creamy consistency. My hair always feels hydrated after using and helps tame some of the frizziness. It has never made my hair greasy and has a very subtle scent to it. Very affordable and lasts me a while. Have continued to repurchase.

I love the whole Essano hair care range, but this is my favourite product. I have very short, but very curly hair, with low perosity, so it doesn't easily hydrate, and during summer my hair feels drier and my curls frizzier. This leave-in conditioner is fantastic for hydrating hair and leaving it looking so healthy. It is a light formula so doesn't build up on my hair at all with ongoing use and has improved the hydration and condition of my hair so much.

One pump is all you need on towel dried or dry hair, and it leaves my hair so smooth and shiny. I can dry it off with a hair dryer and any frizz is really minimal. If I leave my hair to air dry then there's no frizz and the curls are perfectly defined. It's also great as a leave in mask, if you wrap your head in a hot towel for 10 minutes before styling. My hair hasn't felt this soft and healthy in quite a while and using this leave in-conditioner on a regular basis has been a game changer in my hair care routine.

I also use this on my daughters hair - which is long, and extremely curly with ringlets, and it really helps with detangling and giving curls lovely definition without weighing her hair down or leaving it oily

This product is my go to leave-in conditioner. Superb results without the big price ticket.
