I bought this palette a few years ago when I first discovered BH Cosmetics during the dark ages when shipping to NZ was still $25 (haha) thank goodness thats changed.
The blushes come in a sleek, plastic matte compact - easy to clean and light to travel with. I'm not too sure what the "professional" part of the name refers to but I'm not sure how many professional MUA would resort to this palette unless you're starting out in the freelancing work and can't afford the high-end products yet.
It's an entirely matte blush palette with a gorgeous selection of pinks (5), orange peach (2) and brown nudes (3). The darker shades are more pigmented, vibrant and less chalky than the lighter shades. They have a semi-buttery texture but each blush kicks up as much powder as the other which is rather disappointing and messy. There wasn't a time I used this that I didn't have to wipe it down.
I have oily skin so the powder pretty much clung to me throughout the day however for the lighter shades they were non-existent by the afternoon. I would recommend this for those starting out in makeup because it gives a good range of colours and allows you to find a shade that works for you.
This was one of my first blushes ever. Bought it about 3 years ago amd havent hit pan yet. Its a good value for money. I got it for around $8 on special.
Comes in a thin black compact. All colors are very nice but most of them dont show on my skin. I mostly used the barbie pink and hot pink. They went on beautifully but after a few hours they just faded away. The two colors that I mostly used were very pigmented.
Its a good palette to start off with and I would recommend it to friends who are a little bit lighter than me. I love that there were ten colors to play with and find out which tones work for me instead of buying each color separately which might be expensive
