Vo5 Give Me Texture Dry Texturising Spray Review

I'm not thrilled by this product, but that is more because of my taste and because my hair has changed since I bought this spray, rather than because of the product. Other than shampoo and conditioner (and every now and then using extra leave-in conditioner) I'm not a big hair product user. I got this one because I'd had my hair cut to above my shoulders and without styling it looked horrible. Therefore I was willing to give anything a try really. The "salt spray" look was something I liked for the 2 seconds after I curled it and was looking in the mirror. However, I found that after that the product didn't hold my messy curls and instead just made my hair limp and oily. I'm still to this day not sure whether I was using it right..

I love using Vo5 Texture Dry Texturising Spray for my inbeteen days. I only wash my hair twice a week as it is styled most of the time. But during those inbetween days there are times when my hair needs a boost of volume because we vintage styling ladies LOVE big hair. I have quite fine hair so I need a little help with volume from time to time. This dry texturising spray helps to give my hair the much needed boost I require to achieve my victory and suicide rolls.

First impression was the amazing distinctive VO5 smell and how easy it was to use and the perfect size to carry around in your bag. However, it's not as texturising as I expected and the sea salt effect wasn't as dramatic, you see a slight beachy effect and a little more volume (no drastic changes). It is light weight and doesn't make your hair stiff which is good but you have to comb it through if you want it to be softer.

I have naturally wavy hair and normally wear it in a bun, but I wanted a change and I love the beachy waves look, so I decided to give this a go. I feel like it gives me the look I want really quick and it lasts all day; but I feel like i need to wash it the night after using it or my hair feels all thick and crunchy the next day. I haven't used a texturising spray before so I don't know if that's normal. It has a really nice smell and is a nice size bottle for the price.

I brought this product and love it. It isn't too heavy so it doesn't weigh your hair down making it limp and give a really nice texture to my hair. I am yet to try the tip about curling my hair the night before, sparying this in and sleping on it to achieve beach waves like a review said. But I am very happy with using it when my hair has dried naturally or when I have straightened it.

I absolutely love this stuff! It's effective, quick and smells divine!

The price is ridiculously affordable and it's available at most supermarkets.

I find the spray to be easy to use, just spray through the lengths of your hair and give it a scrunch, it creates a bit of volume and doesn't leave your hair feeling dirty, just lightly beach worn :).

I've purchased in the hopes that this would help give me some volume as my hair has been quite flat of late and i was not disappointed.

I will definitely be repurchasing this product and would recommend it not only as a texturing spray but as an alternative to using hairspray to hold curls.

The only issue i have encountered with this product is that a bit like a dry shampoo it does leave a bit of grey colour if you spray too close but just give your hair a run through with your fingers or a brush and that sorts it out.
