I love the cute packaging and how you can apply it to your lips (when its full) straight from jar, although I didn't find it highly hydrating as it tries to say and not very long lasting, it's a nice formular to use (and reapply) I personally think that they are a bit overpriced for what they are though
I have this lip balm in the pale pink variety, strawberry sorbet. I love the packaging of these and find they are super easy to find in your bag with their bright colours and unique packaging. The formula of the lip balm is moisturising but isn't the most moisturising lip balm I have used. I would probably purchase more of these in the future
I love the packaging of these lip blames they are so cute. I was lucky enough to get two from my sister inlaw in canada I've a green one I can't remember the flavour maybe a melon and I also have the pink pomegranate and raspberry which is gorgeous, they last quite well and are so easy to use. I love the fact they are 100% natural which of course is great for something your putting on your lips a couple of times a day! Fantastic smelling everyone will want one ;)
Tips: Grab a couple for your handbag, car and work space so so cute you'll want them all :)
My sister has this (a friend bought it for her from overseas) and I Iove to steal it!!!! It smells divine- so yummy and not too strong. It's super smooth to apply, it just glides on, which I love. It feels really moisturising and waxy, and it lasts for quite a while too, which is good! What I don't like, however is that it's quite bulky, it can only fit in a bag and not in the pocket of my jeans. It's better suited for putting in a desk drawer, in the car or on a dresser. But I find the egg shape of it really interesting!! And the shape of the lip balm itself is really cool, it has a larger surface area than most lip balms, so a good amount of product can be applied in one swipe across the lips. It does keep my lips smooth and soft, without making them too sticky :) I also love the fact that they are so natural and organic.
Tips: As it dissolves fairly quickly into your lips, using before lipstick helps the application of lipstick :)
i own about 5 different eos lip balms and love every single one they all smell amazing and make your lips nice and soft. I love the packaging of them too its so cute :)
I am a massive lip gloss/balm junkie….I am always on the lookout for a better more moisturising product and I had seen so much stuff around about the EOS lip balms when I saw some on special for $7.00 I thought I must give these a go. I settled on the blueberry Acai after tossing up lots of delicious sounding flavours (strawberry sorbet and honeysuckle are next on my list!). I have fairly sensitive skin and lips so I’m always weary of products for my face. This lip balm provided me no with no problems of that nature . The EOS lip balm is soft and smooth to the touch, super easy to apply - unscrew the lid and apply like you would a normal chapstick (no fingers involved here) this is my favourite application of a lip balm!. No mess no fuss. The blueberry Acai has nice smell very soft not offensive or too sweet that it makes you feel like you’ve put candy on your lips or to beeswaxy that it feels like medication - just a nice hint of fragrance . This lip balm provides a good coverage of the lips you don’t need a lot and doesnt finish shiny or greasy. The only downside I really found to the EOS lip balm is I don’t think it lasts as well on the lips as say something like Blistex or an eight hour cream it does need a bit more of a regular application although that might just be my lips but I found that I needed to apply this more often than I do some others. Price wise I picked this up brand new on trade me for $7.00 so I was happy with this blistex is my usual lip balm and its $5/$6 so not much more than my regular lip balm. Personally I do think this is worth the money. I absolutely love the packaging my favourite part about this product (aswell as the delectable flavours it comes in). I love the little egg shape balm with a screw off top I love that it involves no mess and no fingers for application. This is my favourite packaging for a lip balm of all time! I would definitely recommend this to others to try, it may not be as ultra hydrating as a blistex or eight hour cream but it’s not far behind and with the cute little packaging and wonderful smells I will definitely be buying more of these to add to my collection.
Ok so I'm not going to lie, the packaging is what drove me to buy a whole bunch of these. The packaging is gorgeous, and it's like nothing I've ever seen before.
My current favourite is the strawberry sorbet. It smells delicious!! And it even has a subtle taste to it as well which is quite nice. A lot of the flavoured lip balms don't have any taste to them whatsoever so this makes a nice change, even if it is only a subtle taste.
Ok so in the title, I stated that it was 'just another lip balm' which it is. It's nothing amazing but I do feel like every girl needs at least one of these bad boys in their purse.
I do find that I have to continuously apply this lip balm throughout the day, but the packaging makes it so much fun to do anyway. The thing I really like about the EOS lip balm is that it makes my lips feel nice and smooth without having a tonne of gloss on my lips. Even if you continuously apply the lip balm in one go, it's not going to drown your lips in lip balm which I thought was quite cool because I'm addicted to applying this lip balm, even if I don't need to =/
My daughter bought some of these and gave me one because I liked the concept. The packaging is like an egg, and you twist the cap off to get to the round ball of lipbalm inside. It definitely does what is says, as I definitely noticed a difference in my lips after a couple of days. My lips were very smooth and hydrated. It smells nice, and you can get it in different flavours too.
I picked this up when I was in the States, stood in a long queue at Walmart waiting to pay for the bargain of the century! It was winter over there and my lips were feeling a little dry. This was waving at me from the check-out. Even though I knew I had (too) many lip balms at home, it was only a couple of dollars so back to NZ it came with me!
I got the pink striped one which is coconut milk flavour. Which is deeeeelicous! I liked the shape and application of this balm but did find it was a bit difficult to use and keep clean near the end of the balm. It is also hard to get all the balm out at the end without pulling the packaging apart. I applied it generous and it would keep my lips moisturised for a couple of hours (which is standard for me) I kept this one at home on the coffee table so I use it a couple of times in the evening. It has lasted me over nine months so is great value.
Although it's not my favourite lip balm I would definitely use it again. That's if I ever get through my hoard of lip balms, or I'm stuck in a long queue at Walmart again!
