I came across EOS lip balms while visiting family in Canada last year, purchased the Vanilla Mint and Coconut for myself and then before I came home purchased two bulk packs to give as gifts when I returned. I love the shape of the balm and also the container. It glides on like silk and makes my lips soft and supple. The only downside is not being readily available in NZ. Just as well I'm going back in a few weeks because I plan to stock up!

I went a little nuts when I found these for $3 each at Target while in California last year. I ended up buying Lemon Drop (SPF); Blueberry Acai; Summer Fruit; Strawberry Sorbet & Pomegranate Raspberry.
I always carry one in my handbag. I haven't managed to finish one yet, but when I need a moisture hit on my lips, these more than meet the job.
The flavours are strong, and I like that. My favourite is the blueberry but the Lemon Drop certainly got bashed because of the SPF in it this summer just been so is about half finished.
If you've been living under a rock, and you're not familiar with the shape of these - they're round balls of bliss. But they're not pocket or evening clutch friendly!
Right now, I have more than enough to keep me going - and I've got them stashed around the house. Their bright colours make them hard to lose :)
I have the Strawberry Sorbet flavour of the EOS lip balm and it is seriously so so good.
The packaging is cute it's like hard plastic with soft rubber covering the outside of it. some would think it's impractical for me it's perfect why? Why would one want something quite big and bulky?? Well all of my life my lip balm is like bobby pins one day I have 15327 of them the next day there are none and of course it is when you have dry sore lips and you NEED lip balm. So I have figured it's harder to lose them if they are a bit bigger and so far so good.
So the scent of strawberry sorbet is sweet and strawberry. I love the smell of it so much I just want to bite the pretty lil egg shaped balm and eat it!!
It's a very creamy balm once applied my lips feel moisturised and soft. And stay like this a hours although I probably apply it more often than is actually required but it's just so good.
For a start when I first went to apply it I was like how the heck do you put this on?! I tried to use it like a lipstick yeah well that was a mission so now I keep my mouth closed and use it like you would a Chapstick. In my defence the first time I opened it, it did look like it would go all over my lips and half my face if I tried to apply with my mouth closed quite deceiving really. I also love EOS because this is 95% organic and 100% natural. Can't wait to try the other flavours
These lip balms are amazing! I bought a few when I was in the states for $3 and I love them! They are so convenient, smell so good and They actually do the trick. The glide on easily without having to get your fingers icky, and its a nice thin lip balm without leaving much residue behind.
A friend recently returned from Canada and brought me back a mint EOS lipbalm, after a week I am converted. I love it, not only is the packaging adorable and unlike most other lip balms, it actually works.
It's not overpowering, it glides on and I know with the mint it feels so nice and cold to apply and leaves your lips tingling (in a good way).
I love it and will definitely be buying more! There is a lady on Trade Me who sells them and quite a few NZ Makeup sites are now stocking them.
I brought two of these beauty's at Walmart for $3 last year. So guttered I didn't get more because I didn't realize they were so expensive here! These little beauties have a big bad eye catching little round pot (one sits on my desk at work and people are always saying what's that??) both My strawberry and mint flavours smell amazing and taste pretty good to!. I love how they are not too 16 year old girl glossy and the hydration lasts for ages. I haven't had sore, dry or chapped lips since I started using this!
I finally got one of these!! I got it in strawberry. I love the packaging, its so simple and convenient (a screw top lid with the lipbalm sitting on top of the bottom half). I love how you can apply it straight onto your lips after taking the lid off (no turning to bring the lipbalm up). The product itself is great, it's smooth and hydrating. I don't feel it lasts too long but what lipbalm does? This isn't an issue to me. The scent isn't strong it's just a hint of strawberry. Will definitely purchase it again!
This stuff needs to hurry up and come to NZ. I bought mine in the US for $3. It is the best that I have tried. Doesn't dry my lips out. Others would do this after 10mins of wearing it. They also smell amazing. I like the mint one
I absolutely love my EOS lip balm- or little planet of heaven for your lips as i sometimes call it! They smell heavenly, i like the hydration they give my lips as they stay moist for longer. although i quite like the packaging, its abit too big when you have a little bag and in an awkward shape..but overall these a lovely. i wish they sold these at Countdown or kmart somewhere you can easily get them!
I've only found these travelling thru the states but blueberry is definitely my favourite. Very natural limited chemicals. They last on lips for ages and do a great job keeping them supple !!! Very tastey, smell great come in a cute container! Great gift I have one in my handbag wherever I go and relatively expensive pricing but they haven't been bought to nz yet!!!! Great gift I highly recommend these love them!!
