In the world of skincare/cosmetics it is easy to think that expensive means better or best. The older I get and the more products I have tried over the years I am certain now that this is not always the case. I do love Estee Lauder products. And this serum is no different. But I wouldn't say the signs of ageing were "dramatically" reduced while using it. I definately felt more moisturised and my skin was clear and felt smoother. But not enough that I could justify repurchasing over and over. I think there are other products on par with this serum at a much more reasonable price. So I won't be purchasing this again. I think you will love this serum if you currently have a pretty basic skincare regime. I cleanse, tone, use moisturising serums, moisture masks, AHA Exfoliating serums, etc. So I try to do all I can to help my skin look its best (I know I am fighting mother nature but I intend on putting up a good fight... grrr!) And I am wondering in general if that is why I didn't get the "wow" results. Because i already have a pretty solid arsenal of products. It was nice but not a stand out by any means.

Tips: Worth a try if you have the cash to splash. And if your current skincare regimen needs a kick up the behind. Very moisturising.
i was given a small trial bottle of this serum as an offer from Estee Lauder and I used the small bottle for over four weeks waiting for the miracle to occur. It didn't. While it felt nice and gentle on the skin it had a tendency to make my skin redden over time. I tried using it only at night (even though I was advised to use it under my make-up) but the redness continued. Sadly it made absolutely no difference to my skin overall. I could find nothing in this product to justify the price.
Tips: Don't use this if you have s ensitive skin like I do. There is something in this that affected my skin in such a way that I resembled a lobster.
You can't argue that Advanced Night Repair isn't amazing, it's just a question of whether it's worth it to you. I've had a chance to try it from family members getting mini bottles of it for free as gifts with purchase. The difference in your skin after applying it every night before moisturising with night cream is visible - it hydrates and smooths and improves skin texture.
Unfortunately this costs mega bucks, so it's out of most people's budgets. I wouldn't be able to afford it if I used it daily. The other unfortunate thing is that you DEFINITELY get what you pay for with products like this, so I can't even suggest a more affordable alternative!
I just purchased a bottle of this and I defiantly think it is worth the investment! I love this stuff I could see a difference after my first use. IMy skin in the morning was smooth and a lot of the redness i usually have in the morning had disappeared!
I received this as part of a set last christmas and was very excited to use it. But it didn't wow me like I thought it would. I'm not sure I would spend the money in it for myself. The scent it quite strong and it has a watery texture like a serum but not has thick. I preferred the idealist serum and used that a night with better results.
Tips: Wait a minute for it to absorb into your skin before applying moisturiser.
I have used this off and on over the last few years and have found it delivers, it softens lines and help with the healing of imperfections and leaves your skin feeling fantastic. On the down side it is pricey and with a couple of kids it is now a luxury that I only buy when I can afford to stretch the budget.
I looooove this stuff. I always come back to it and the re formulation it great. My skin feels lovely after a have popped it on, much smoother. I do believe my skin improves over time when using ANR.
Tips: The name is misleading as I use it during the day too. A few drops in your foundation gives a lovely, slightly sheer result.
This product is great, i really have noticed a difference in my skin whilst using it. There are repair properties too which are very soothing on the skin. I find though having sensitive skin it sometimes makes my skin a little bit tingly but i dont think its a reaction its just a lil strange (i havent broken out so i would say its safe)
Tips: Apply generously at night time and let it work its magic, will feel very cool on the skin and if it tingles dont be alarmed!
I've been using this product on-and-off for a couple of months now (that is, when I remember to clean my face at night), and I've definitely noticed a difference when I do use this product to when I don't. I don't have many issues with aging skin, but I do with my skin tone and texture. I have definitely seen an improved skin tone (less redness) and felt smoother and more moisturized skin after using this product. Although I'm not 100% sure how well it does everything it says on the bottle, I ultimately enjoy the effects it has on my skin. I've heard amazing things about the long-term benefits of this product, so I'm going to keep using this product to hopefully see them on myself. :)
Ok so i've had issue with my skin for a good few years now, from a mixture of scarring to acne and also dryness. While trying to fix these issues i tried numerous amounts of similar products not wanting to go and spend so much on this product but late last year i bite the bullet and decided after many failed products that i would give it a try. Good news people! Its absolutely amazing! My skin feels more moisturised, scarring has visibly gone down and dryness has disappeared. Never again will i use another product for my skin.
Tips: If this product is out of your price range then do your research to find similar products by all means but sometimes it pays to just invest the money for the good results. And also dont be afraid to ask for samples of expensive products like this.
