I received this in the Having a ball best beauty box ever, I was impressed with the size and I loved the mint colored tube it comes in.
I found this didn't work very well for removing my makeup, I tested this with wearing light eye makeup and heavy eye makeup, both didn't do very well at removing eyeliner or mascara. In regards to removing foundation or cream contouring, those came off easily. When using this cleanser I had to remove my makeup first before going in with the cleanser. Using a dime size I apply this to my face and neck before rinsing off with warm water. The formula is creamy but runny, a little like yogurt. It is soothing on my skin which is great after a busy day. Afterwards my skin feels clean and smooth, definitely brighter, I like how soft my skin feels after using this cleanser.
It is definitely a more gentler cleanser, something I am not used to. It doesn't dry out my skin but instead nourishes and hydrates it.
I have repurchased this cream cleanser.
I'm a huge fan of literally all the featured ingredients in this - apple, chia, coconut avocado - sounds like a concoction that can only be good, right? For me... not so much.
Goodness Évery Day Cream Cleanser comes in a gorgeous avocado-flesh green tube with a soft grey screw cap at the bottom. I have the smaller size; 20ml, which I got in a 'Try the Range' kit for about $20 at Farmers. This was enough for a good couple of weeks worth of trials, and I suspect I used too much, so I dare say the 150ml size would last ages.
The cleanser is white and quite thin. You only need to tap the tube to get it to dispense and the first time I used it I squeezed and ended up with heaps in my hand. The cleanser has a strongly herbal smell - unexpectedly, to me it smells mostly of fresh parsley. It's not an offensive scent but I don't personally like it as much as other cleansers I use/have used.
I have to say, I'm not a huge cream cleanser user at the best of times, but I had an open mind trying this one out as I really wanted to love it.
Unfortunately, I don't. I found it didn't remove my makeup very well at all and I needed micellar water or makeup remover both before and after using this to make sure my face was clean. It took quite a bit of rinsing to get the product totally off my face (admittedly this may have been down to me using too much as well) and I could still smell it afterwards.
Positives - I didn't break out using this, and my face felt nice once it was fully rinsed and dried - no drying/tightening of skin etc. I also like that it's from a NZ company.
Unfortunately, because this product fdoes not meet my makeup removal/cleanser all in one needs, and I'm not a fan of the scent, it won't be repurchased - but I can see the spot in the market for it and so it still may well work for you, especially if you're not a big makeup wearer or you are a fan of natural cream cleansers.
Tips: Pick up the sample box if you can because you get to try the cleanser, lotion, scrub, oil and night cream for around the cost of one single full-sized unit.
