I picked up my billion dollar brow kit in the last beauty vault, I chose this product because I have very patchy brows from overplucking.
The packaging is quite alluring, something draws you in. Maybe its the fact that they are showing you the product on the outside? One downside about the packaging though was I was frantically searching for the instructions inside the box since there was so much room... Ahem... There were no instructions.
However, I found the brush to be really easy to work with and I think it will last for a long time. The product came in a small round container and was "Taupe" colour. I read on the box that it was compatible with dark hair which was a bonus.
I felt that the colour was to light for my personal preference and didn't really give me the result I wanted. However it was perfect for day to day eyebrow wear and let me get away with people thinking I was eyebrow product free.
This product lasted about 8 hours on me before it started to wear off, which I think is a reasonable amount of time! It didn't take me long to apply the brow product as well which was handy!
I don't think I could justify spending over $50 on this product considering I have another eyebrow kit that is worth $30 and gives me amazing stand out results. However it would be a fantastic little edition to a makeup kit and there is no harm in trying this product !
Well well this product in the vault had my curiosity very high hmmmm 60 seconds to beautiful brows?? Really? Could that be possible? I mean I'm all about saving time, I hate products where I have to 'naff' around for ages. So anything that can save me time I'm in!
The product comes in a cardboard box talk about a bit of an over kill of cardboard but anyhoo I guess it prevents the brush or product from being damaged.
The product comes in a small silver plastic pot with a screw top lid, with the lid being clear at the top so you can see the product. The colour is 'taupe' which looks a lot like the colour of the BDB universal brow pencil. The brush has an angled brush at one end and a spoolie at the other. It does feel kind of lightweight and almost flimsy so I'm learning to be gentle with it.
The product is easy to pick up with the angled brush. It feels quite creamy and buttery, It sticks to the skin/hair easily and it's easy to build the colour up. I have decided that I don't really need to do too much to my brows just fill in a few sparse areas and I'm done.
Once I have added colour I blend it all in with the spoolie end then set it with a gel. I love how this looks so natural as most of my make up looks are pretty au naturale. It doesn't seem too last all day on my brows though which is the only slight issue I have with this product and that is after setting it with a gel.
As for the 60 second part? At best I can do each brow in 60 seconds. It is pretty easy especially if you are like me and only need to touch up a few sparse hairs. Overall though it's a great product, thanks so much to BR for making this product available in the vault.
