So I read platinum and decided to get it, especially since it was only $7 at the supermarket. The packaging is just like all the other Tresemme hair care products - white for conditioner and black for the shampoo. I find that the cap works well and the product comes out easily and in a controlled manner, but it does get annoying when you reach the end of the bottle and it's difficult to get product out - particularly conditioner because it's so much more viscous than the shampoo.
The scent of the conditioner is quite strong but I can't really put my finger on what it smells like - just like some generic haircare. The conditioner itself is of medium thickness and white. It applies easily and evenly on the hair. I typically use the size of a 20c piece on my hair (as I only have medium length hair) and I focus it on my ends, with the excess through my roots. I'll put it on, then use body wash, before rinsing.
It leaves my hair feeling smooth but I don't feel that it lives up to its claims of repairing hair in 5 washes (especially when I've already gone through a whole bottle of the shampoo + conditioner) and it doesn't really seem to have an effect on my hair. My hair doesn't feel particularly stronger, and it doesn't make my hair any smoother, softer or shinier.
It's a decent conditioner and especially for the price, it is super affordable but I haven't noticed any wonders about it, and it definitely hasn't repaired my hair as it claims to do. I probably won't repurchase this, as there are other haircare products out there that are better anyway.
Sorry but the claim of repairing years of damage I disagree with. It might repair the LOOK of hair but I doupt it will actually fully repair it. They have a mask for this too and I have also tried it. This brand of product can be good value for money when it comes on special. It's not a brand I usually buy. The conditioner is fairly thick and you tend to get quite alot in these bottles so you won't be going through it too quickly. Apart from being big they don't really seem to leak easily during travel. The product does not wow me in terms of its claims and results it just seems to be generally like most supermarket conditioner. It smells fresh but I don't love it and got sick of it quickly. The product also has diamenthicone/silicone in it so it smooths hair and makes it feel fairly soft but does not really add any additional nutrition or hydration I don't know if it made hair stronger either. These days I mainly use silicone free conditioners unless I'm trying to lock colour into my hair. I would not re buy this I do however like some of the shampoos from this brand. BR don't have much of the range listed on here.
Tips: Check out other range they have natural based on the market now toi
