I have dry sensitive skin and this product works fine for me. Its great for setting foundation before contouring, or to go over where you have used to much blush to tone it down. I apply with a powder brush and although it kicks up the dust it does a very good job at mattifying. I really like the product itself however you don't get much of it. The size of the powder is the same size as the sponge. It is very powdery so using every day it lasts less than a month. This would be so much better if they removed the sponge and doubled the product amount as I don't apply with a sponge anyway as I think this technique looks cakey. Once the products gone I felt like the packaging was a waste as its quite nice and I like the mirror. Its a shame to throw it out. A refill would be a great idea for this. I don't think I will repurchase purely because if a product does last long I would prefer more eco friendly packaging.

Because this powder is so affordable ($3 on i herb) it is an excellent product for everyday use. The size is incredibly practical as well, it is slim and small so can fit into your bag on the go. I don't typically use a sponge to apply powder but it is very convenient for travelling and on the go application. The packaging is very good quality for elf, it is a similar matte feel to their blushes, eyebrow kits and contour kits, so it tends to dirty a bit easier but I love this packaging as its very sleek and I don't feel its as tacky as some other cheaper makeup brands.
The product itself is great quality for the price. It is translucent but it does have a wee bit of colour to it when its in the packet so it matches light-medium skin shades and goes on invisible - it doesn't look orange at all. It sets my makeup really well and makes my T zone less shiny. I have combination normal dry skin and by the end of the day it definitely isn't as matte so if you have oily skin you would probably want something with a little more lasting power. For me, its a great day powder and if i'm looking for some extra hold at night I pair it with the E.L.F mist and setting spray.
Tips: E.L.F also do this powder in a loose form if you're not into pressed powders.
I picked up this wee guy on iherb for around $3 US. And what a wee gem. I have a ridiculous amount of powders because my skin can tend to be a tad oily, and for the price this powder was definitely worth it! Pluses include - of course the price! it has a pleasant sent, the coverage is good, not chalky (like the blushes), it is most definitely translucent and lightweight. Downsides included the packaging is HUGE and comes with a stupid big sponge, so only half od the actual packaging is product, I would prefer a smaller packet and no sponge. I wouldn't go crazy and say it is a long lasting powder your definitely need to reapply regularly...but for $3 I definitely would recommend it to anyone!
Tips: I personally prefer the Elf HD loose translucent powder!
E.L.F is one of my favourite brands but this product left a lot to be desired. The included make up applicator is beautifully soft but this is the only highlight. The product is advertised as light and able to be applied over liquid makeup. However, when i did this i felt i had far too much make up on and the product was too heavy. I expected the product to alter the colour of my foundation only slightly however it lightened my complexion extremely. Im pasty enough! I will continue to use this product as i spent good money on it. However, I will not buy again
Tips: This is more a foundation then a mattifying powder. Makes a good powder if your in a rush and dont want to bother with liquid
This is one of my favourite translucent powder. For my oily skin it's goes so nicely on- either over revlon colourstay or Estée Lauder double wear, and it last all day without letting any shin through. It also just finishes any makeup look(I love the matte look though). It's so cheap- but the only negitive would be that it's such a small amount you can buy that after a month you run out and within about 15 times using it I hit pan, which is a little disappointing. But overall well worth a buy.
Tips: I use one of my big powder brushes as it seems to be alot better than the little pad thing they give you(comes with it).
I love this product! I just recently purchased it but I am loving it. It keeps my face matte all day, and it looks so much smoother and just gooood! Not only is this a great product, it is sooo cheap!
This is an okay powder and was super cheap, and I like the packaging. However, it's definitely not translucent. It goes on with a colour, and changes the colour of my foundation. On me it is a bit orangey. I keep it in my bag for touch ups to, and it's okay for this, but I wouldn't repurchase.
This powder wasn't really worth my $10. Yes it mattifies, but not for very long. I only use a light amount to set my face. It gives a white look to my face and very powdery look around my nose. I think it may have broken my skin out but I can't be certain. I do like the packaging though, it comes with and applicator and mirror which I like. wouldn't repurchase.
Tips: I haven't used it with a brush but I think it would be much better
As a combo-oily skin girl, I was really wanting to love this product.. but I hate it :( It makes the oily parts of the skin for a very short time, and I found it made my skin long orangey which is strange since it is meant to be translucent. I think this is alright for touch ups but I would not recommend this product
As an oily-skinned girl, I'm always on the lookout for my Holy Grail mattifying powder - I have tried a LOT and have pretty specific expectations and needs. This powder sadly does not meet them. It is matte when first applied, but I am usually oily again within a few hours no matter how I apply it - with a brush or sponge, patting or buffing. I wouldn't recommend this to other oily-skinned folks. Even though the powder was technically a translucent powder, I found that it looked very obvious around my nose that I had powder on as it looked very light against my skin.
