The Aqua Marina skin cleanser from Lush is a very gentle, sweet smelling and soft facial cleanser. I found it very soothing and kept my face really soft while I used it. This cleanser is for people with perhaps sensitive skin, and who like a very gentle facial wash as it doesn't have a lot of scrub too it. For me it wasn't scrubby enough which is why I probably wouldn't purchase again as I like a gentle exfoliation. However, it does say this on the packaging. The smell and feel of the cleanser was really nice too, with hints of seaweed so it really lives up to its name.

Lush Aqua Marina Review
Lush Aqua Marina Review
Skin-softening cleanser. Aqua Marina is a calming, effective cleanser and a joy to use. Like a pink mousse wrapped in seaweed, it feels so soft and wobbly that you’ll want to play with it, rather than clean your face with it. Smooth it on, rinse it off and your face feels smooth, smells sweet and looks brighter. It has calamine and aloe vera to soothe irritated skin, especially when you’ve been caught by the sun or the wind. The kaolin cleanses deeply and tightens your skin a little. Immediate result smoother, softer and firmer skin straight away.

Tips: This cleanser will last a long time if you use it as directed "small pinch" because thats all you need, it goes a really long way :)
I received this as a gift for Christmas. Although this is not my fav product, I don't hate it. It is nice, creamy an cleansing, it does not leave my face dry either. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell of the seaweed that is in it, but that is just personal preference.
Overall I have liked Lush's fresh face cleansers, Angels on Bare Skin being my favourite Lush product at the time of this review and I was hoping this one would be no exception. I what did attract me to this one is that I have liked most of the fresh face cleansers and that this was pretty much all natural ingredients and made for sensitive skin. The ingredients are glycerine, calamine powder, kaolin, Irish moss gel, aloe vera gel, fine sea salt, nori seaweed, sweet wild orange oil, patchouli oil, carrageenan extract, lilial, hexyl cinnamal and perfume. So pretty much all natural formula. With calamine second on the ingredients list it's understandable that this pink paste smells like calamine lotion. While the other fresh face washes become this sort of scrubby, grainy paste when you mix a pinch of this with water this cleanser changes to a lumpy but more creamy paste. I find it only the tiniest bit exfoliating but hardly a scrub, it just has bit more texture than a cream cleanser but hardly any exfoliation to fit into the category of a scrub. I have used this to cleanse my highly sensitive skin the morning after a peel when wrong the night before with it hardly adding to the irritation of my skin. It did leave a bit of an oily film on my skin, the Angels on Bare Skin leaves one as well. The reason why I'm not going to repurchase this product is because I like the Angels on Bare Skin better, I like the feel of it better, the cleanse of it better and it smells a bit more appealing then this, plus it's the same price. Plus if I was going for a cream cleanser I would want it more creamy and less lumpy, it's not a bad cleanser it's just that there are other options that appeal more to me.
Tips: If you have uber sensitive skin, it's unlikely that this cleanser will irritate it. I would recommend with all of Lush's fresh face cleansers that you transfer a bit from the pot it comes in to a smaller pot to use in the bathroom. Especially if you are going to use this in a shower in the morning, that prevents the majority of your cleanser from getting wet as once water gets in the pot it's pretty much done for.
I used this product since the Lush girl recommended I use it in the mornings for my oily, combo, acne prone skin, and to use herbalism at night. This is a weird product, it's a creamy pink paste, wrapped in seaweed. When I mixed in some water with it, the pink paste didn't dissolve well and the seaweed was all lumpy. It was hard to actually get an even layer to clean my face. I feel that it didn't smell particularly nice, kind of like fish and it didn't do much for my skin.
I felt that the actual product was quite oily, and left a film on my skin. It didn't feel very clean, but it did feel a bit tighter and brighter. Overall though, it didn't do anything spectacular for me, and I wouldn't reuse.
I asked for a sample of this product so that I could get a gage on whether or not it was the cleanser for me. This product isn't the prettiest, it's a light pink paste with seaweed wrapped around it. When I used it in the shower you have to put a pea sized amount in your hand then you put a little bit of water and make a thin paste. When I put it on my face i found that it didn't smooth onto my face very well. The scent smelt like a man's cologne. After i washed it off my skin felt dry and I was breaking out a bit. All and all probably won't use it again.
Tips: It doesn't have exfoliant beads in it so I feel like it isn't giving my skin the best clean and you need quite a bit to cover your whole face.
This stuff was wonderful on my adult PCOS acne skin. It calmed my skin while cleansing it thoroughly.
Tips: Gently massage into moist skin and then rinse. Follow with moisturiser.
