Nice clean scent. I have a dry skin, so probably not the best option for my skin, as my skin felt very dry even after moisturising my skin. It did however tone my skin very well. Think this would suit a oily or combination skin better.

I was into the 3 step routine of cleanse, tone and occasionally moisturize. I used this with a cotton pad after cleansing to get all my makeup off. The more makeup I saw on the cotton round after using this the more convinced that this was doing its job and the tight feeling afterwards was clearing my skin of oil and future breakouts. I was so mistaken. I had breakouts and dry skin. While there was improper cleansing involved in the process this didn't really hydrate my skin thanks to all that alcohol. That wasn't tightening my pores like I thought but irritating it to give me that temporary clean skin feeling. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

it refreshes and tones skin well ,skin feels soft after use , blemishes are calmed and reduced ,but if your skin is very oily and blemished ,this probably wont help that much !!!

I had just purchased a 'natural' and gentle skin toner and it made my face feel like it was burning and I had to hold a cold facecloth on my face and rinse rinse rinse. The next day I wanted to tone but there was no way I was using the one I had just purchased the day before and I was unwilling to spend big money on a toner two days in a row so I hoped for the best and purchased a Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner for Normal and Combination Skin that was on sale at Farmers for UNDER $10!! I was nervous as I applied it and my nerves were quickly replaced with relief and happiness. It is excellent and leaves my skin feeling so good! And yes, refreshed! Its smells refreshing, feels refreshing and leaves my skin feeling wonderful. I have found my toner for life now and at a ridiculously cheap price.
