Revlon Designer Collection Compact Travel Mirror Review

I was gifted this by a very lovely lady in a time when I needed a cheer up. It was something I definitely needed in my bag at the time. Up until then I would use my front facing camera. This was hard to do with a bulky phone. Everyone around me giving me raised eyebrows, while I was looking at myself in my camera.

It's nice and small but big enough to hold in my hand easily. It fits perfectly in my lil bag. It has a slightly magnified mirror which is great for checking the finer details of my face and makeup. Perfect for those 'food in teeth' checks. I really love the little clasp that ensures it is kept closed. So many times I have had compact mirrors at the glass breaks or it gathers dust in there.

At the end of the day, it does what it is intended to do which is be a mirror. It works really well and all whilst looking fashionable and chic. Would I buy it for myself? Honestly, no because I can get the same thing for half that price. I think you're paying for the brand as opposed to the mirror itself. But if you are looking for a mirror that is beautiful, compact and perfect for travelling and don't care about the price then this is the mirror for you.

This was gifted to me by a friend. I keep it in my purse and it's really handy for scrutinizing what I did wrong with my eye and base makeup once I've left home and only have a spf lip balm and lippy on me. The 3x magnification is good for spotting smudged liner, creased concealer, eyebrow strays and the fact that my winged liner isn't too even. The other mirror is good for spotting the more obvious makeup mishaps like mascara smudges and flakes and if my lippy needs reapplying. The fact that it folds with a little clasp means it's less likely to get dust and smudges while in your bag. I'm giving it a few less smooches for the price.
