Reviews
This moisturiser does nothing for my skin. My skin feels dry and not soft or firmer. The packaging the cream comes in also feels very cheap. I suppose I can’t expect to much for the price, but expected more because of how happy i am with some of Garnier’s other products.
I have always loved the Garnier brand since i was young. Even though there are cheaper moisturizer on the market, i always try to buy it when it is on special.
It is a great moisturizer to use every morning as part of your daily skincare routine. I'm not sure if i would say that it firms my skin but as an all over moisturizer it leaves my skin soft and quickly absorbs into my skin. Is a great base for makeup as well.
The fact that it contains SPF is a bonus especially during the summer months.
I love that this is a light product and it is perfect for summer. It helped hydrate my skin and was easy to carry around to the beach and on day trips. Great cos it has SPF in it. I am not sure I saw or felt visible results of an Ultra lift.
Tried because it had SPF and was reasonable. Product was ok. Reasonably priced, but not the most hydrating.
I decided to test this day cream and the comparable night cream a little while back and, while the product feels nice, I haven't really noticed any results in over a month of regular use.
Both products do smell lovely and feel nice to touch although I sometimes find my skin feeling a little oily from them. Neither product caused my skin to breakout initially either so that's a plus however I don't really notice much of a difference from when I'm not using any moisturising products. I do enjoy them enough to finish the bottles but probably won't be purchasing them again.
I bought a tub not expecting much and was nicely surprised.
Firstly, it doesn’t lift or firm as far as I’m concerned, But that’s fine because that’s not why I bought it. I was after a product that was a light but moisturizing cream that had an SPF but wasn’t greasy. And this ticked all those boxes. It sunk in quickly with no residue and protected me from the sun. It has a pleasant scent and I think the cream lasted for a decent amount of time. I would rebuy this if garnier becomes cruelty free.
Tips: Don’t expect miracles and you won’t be disappointed.
This moisturiser is great for simply moisturising. I used it daily for a while and it does make my skin soft and hydrated but I haven't noticed my skin feeling any firmer. It feels velvety and you only need to use a small amount and apply a thin layer for it to work. I don't think it's a miracle moisturiser, I'm sure there are plenty of better ones out there but this one does the trick if you need something affordable.
Tips: Don't expect your skin to feel any firmer
I bought this at a supermarket during a Garnier sale, attracted to the aspect of it being Day cream (light, me thinks), has some sunscreen, and past creams by Garnier have not caused breakouts.
What I like: Small pot fits in my creams drawer in the bathroom and is made of plastic so doesn't try to crash through the counter top when I'm being clumsy.
Yes, it's a light cream while still having a level of richness. It doesn't feel like it's main ingredient is water, put it that way. However, water IS the main ingredient haha
Fragrance is somewhere between a standard lotion type smell and a Herby citrus. It's quite strong but not as powerful as the last Essano serum I used which made my eyes water. When I wear it, there is no reaction to the fragrance.
Texture of the cream is slick and rubs in very easily, till you can't feel it. It appears that there is no residue, another plus for me.
I can put this on my nose and not get pimples. My chin is fairly sensitive to creams so while this isn't overly breakout-creating, I generally avoid that area.
Easily available at my local shops.
What I don't like?
I don't really see any miraculous changes to my skin in terms of anti wrinkle, sunspots and firming. But then I rarely do.
I'd prefer less fragrance but since my eyes don't mind I won't hold it against Garnier. It would be nice if they made creams with more natural products. As soon as I get find something else that has SPF and doesn't cause breakouts, I'll probably switch.
Tips: No need for a whole lot, just dab it around with the tips of your fingers.
I tried this a while ago, it didn't really make a vast difference to my skin. I found it very dense and not as hydrating as other creams I have tried. It may work well for other skin types.
