I'm a bit of a fan of Badger Balms, unfortunately not of this one however. As with all Badger products they are organic which is a real bonus. The packaging is very cute - on the box it says "Wrinkle, Shrinkle and Crinkle Care" which I found quite humorous. It also states for under eye, hand and stretch mark care.
It's a solid balm that turns to liquid as you rub your fingers into it, you then apply to your face (or wherever) by rubbing directly onto the skin. This is what I really didn't like about it, as it's so heavy you really need to rub it in, and all I found I was doing was stretching my facial skin trying to get it to absorb. Being so heavy, it's only good for a night cream as you face look super greasy after use. I would never recommend using as a day cream unless you were staying at home that day.
I also did not like the smell, I found the rose fragrance to be almost unnoticeable to overpowering Lavender stench. Just not my thing.
The balm is a yellow color similiar mustard, It is not that much different to their other balms in consistency, it's just more of a semi solid - like coconut oil, its like a firm dense honey in the container then emulisifies between your fingers. Once you apply it, it stays a little oily then after a while it soaks into the skin.
It has quite a strong "real" rose scent to it, so if your not a fan of rose smell it would be a good idea to steer clear of this product
It is a perfect multipurpose balm, anything from chapped dry areas, eye cream, lip balm ... the list goes on. Works great on dry elbows and heels :)
I have very dry and sensitive skin and It's very hydrating, perfect for the winter season.
Feels delicious on the skin, my skin feels smooth, soft and nourished and alot more healthier in general, and best of all it's all natural, no nasty chemicals, like most of badgers products.
It's a really good quality product for a great price around $14-15 - will definitely be a staple in my medicine cabinet
