I got the 120ml pump action bottle of this cleanser in the Dedicated to Nature prize pack that I won from Beauty Review a few months back.
The pump action bottle works well and the liquid cleanser is easily dispensed without any mess or wastage.
It has a pleasant, very fruity smell and is soothing on the skin but I found that it didn't effectively remove eyeliner or non-waterproof mascara, instead it left me with "panda eyes"! The first time I used it, I got out the bath, looked in the mirror and had a good laugh!
It does work better if it's used on a facial sponge or face cloth, instead of just on the fingers and works very well if eye make-up remover is used first (when I'm testing a product, I like to really give it a good trial and will use a cleanser without removing any make-up first to see just how well it works).
It is non-drying and there was no dry or tight feeling after cleansing and it washes off easily with warm water.
The 120ml bottle is the perfect size for travelling and even though the label states that this cleanser is for 'normal & sensitive skin', it worked okay on my oily skin. I did do a double cleanse on days where I wore make-up, as a single cleanse with this product didn't leave my skin feeling clean.
I haven't tried this with makeup but it is effective at removing my thick layer of sunblock I have on every day through summer. It is easy to squish out the bottle with the nozzle, it's thin so you just need a little to lather over your face and it feels nice on your skin. I have sensitive skin and react to a lot of products but this one was gentle and fine for my dry, eczma-prone skin. It leaves me feeling clean and fresh, needing moisturiser applied afterwards but not too stripped of oils. The packaging is as with most dedicated to nature products: not excessively decorative but functional and gives a back-to-basics feel. It is reasonably priced and when you read the ingredients, you know it's got to be good for you.
