I love these little Mouthwash tabs. When I first purchased these I got a tad confused and thought they were the same as Toothy Tabs and was using them wrong because I was brushing my teeth with them he he he. However I don't see why you couldn't use them as toothpaste, I had no reactions when doing it that way.
I love that the Mouthwash Tabs come in a bottle as opposed to the little cardboard box that the Toothy Tabs come in as I found the box got moisture into them and then ruined the tabs. Having them in the plastic bottle is much better although the bottle neck is quite tiny and find it sometimes hard to get the tab out. The plastic bottle sadly though is probably not as good for the environment as the cardboard boxes are.
The Mouthwash Tab itself is a dark green in like a diamond shape if you could call it that, not very big at all which is great because you don't really want a tab the size of a horse pill in your mouth.
They are super easy to use - I usually bite and crunch in my mouth until it resembles tiny little crumbs, a paste is even better if you can manage it without swallowing it. Then I use the cap to put water in (I always wash the cap afterwards for hygiene reasons) and pour into my mouth, wait for it to fizz up then swish it in my mouth as you would do with actual liquid mouthwash. I do that for a minute or 2 but just be aware the longer you leave it in your mouth the stronger and hotter it gets so just spit it out if you find it too strong. I don't rinse after as I read somewhere that you are taking away any product that could still be working in your mouth and recommended not to rinse out. So now I don't and it seems to work well for me. I also gargle if I can manage it to really get the icy goodness going.
I really find the Icy Peppermint leaves my breath feeling and smelling nice and minty and they are the perfect size to keep in your handbag or take with you in the glove compartment in your car for those little freshness boosts in the day (or night). Great if you are eating any kind of onion or garlic type products as your boss/colleagues/friends won't faint when you breathe on them.
For the price tag I think they are great, more expensive than a pack of chewing gum but better as I find that stuff just feels like rubber in my mouth and the taste goes away shortly after. There are about 100 tabs in there I believe so will definitely last for quite a while. I have these in the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster too.
i hate solid toothpaste. its foul. you chew and chew and it gets stuck in your teeth like those bastard quick eze tablets and I HATE IT ALRIGHT.so i wasnt surprised that i also hated these.
this one has a lovely minty flavor but at the same time its bizarre? ive used it a few times, and after the first chewy chew i decided to smash it up with my mortar and pestle and use it that way, much more efficient!
it bubbles fantastically, and my teeth feel clean and mouth feels fresher but at the same time... it really doesnt. i prefer my listerine! its tea flavored and fantastic. anyway. i would not repurchase these!
