So I was lucky enough to obtain this product in the last beauty vault. When it arrived and it was so small I thought wow, that’s not a lot of product for the price, and to be fair, I was prepared to be a little scathing about it.
The packaging is a quirky, soft, pack in a pretty teal with a picture of a Pacifica lady, giving it an earthy organic feel. The lid unscrews and voila! - a delicious aroma (presumably papaya) greets the senses.
The product is a cream that glides silkily onto the skin. Now I really love thick creams for cleansing and moisturising, so this really suits me. It doesn’t require much product to get a great result.
After rinsing, my skin looks and feels very fresh and clean and feels quite soft.
The product claim states it will moisturise the skin with lingering & exotic fragrance of the pacific, lavishing the skin with Vitamin E, Virgin coconut oil, Almond oil, Frangipani oil. It certainly has an exotic pacific fragrance, and the silky feel is most likely due to the lovely oils it contains.
So all in all it is a lovely product, and I would happily recommend trying it to my others. I’m very tempted to comment about the price but the quality of the product is actually preventing me from doing so, as I feel I would be unfair to the product if I were to do so. It is $33, but I guess each user would have to decide if it is worth it. Actually, I’d say it is.
When i first recieved this product my first thought was "its so tiny" , its pretty much the same size as one of those baby food/ yoghurt pouches, but on saying that you use next to none of it in an application.
My first try I used about a thumb nail and i think that was too much, so you need to remember a little goes a very long way. I loved how soft and smooth the texture was while i was rubbing it into my cheeks, it felt like clouds and that feeling was left on my face for hours afterwards.
The smell is so lovley and really suttle, I find it a little hard to describe the smell but i really liked it.
I didn't like how there was absolutly no instructions on the packet as to how to use it. I ended up having to go on google to figure out if I was meant to apply water, wash the product off or what. Once I had figured out how to use it it was amazing tho .
I don't think I would ever re purchase the product because of the price tag tho, it's really expensive especially when you don't get much
Tips: If you have kids like myself definatly keep this pouch out of reach! As it does resemble baby food and yoghurt pouches (thats esactly what my 3 year old thought it was) .
