I need to buy them again!

These matte eyeshadows are such beautiful tones and very pigmented and good quality. They are the cheapest eyeshadow i've used that live upto the standard of a luxury range product.

They are magnetic at the back so you can buy your selection and stick them into a case. They're so perfect, and the colours are universal. They look great on almost all skintones!

Art Deco Matte - 554, 584, 538 and 517

I was gifted a magnetic compact with some of the matte shades. Before this I didn't have any neutral matte eyeshadow shades so I was happy to have this in my collection. The shades I have from lightest to darkest are 554 - Matte Natural Vanilla (cream shade), 584 - Matte Rosy Starling (pinkish mauve shade), 538 - Matte Nude Blush (warm-toned beige) and 517 - Matte Chocolate Brown (dark chocolate brown). I found the colors not to be that pigmented. In fact I could blend the first three and not really be able to tell the shades apart on my lids. The last one was dark when swatched but it didn't blend out well so I didn't really reach for this palette so much since the colors would blend to about the same shade and the one that I wanted to really blend wouldn't. It didn't last that long on my lids either. I think this is a case of you get what you pay for. I did like the shades I received as they were nice neutral and nude colors that I like to wear everyday and that you are able to customize and choose little eyeshadow pans with shades you will wear to put it in a magnetic case. This is good for I guess putting together an eyeshadow palette for a teen or child playing with makeup. But I think there are some more affordable eyeshadow palettes that have better quality shadow and wearable, everyday shades so it's probably best to save and buy a nice eyeshadow quad rather than one little eyeshadow here and there for your magnetic palette.

Tips: The magnetic palette that's designed for these eyeshadow singles, is good for storing eyeshadow pans from other brands just use double sided tape in lieu of magnets.

Art Deco Eyeshadow Matt

I was quite disappinted in this product when I got to try it. Considering other Art Deco products I have used, I expected these eyeshadows to be well pigmented and really stand out. They unfortunately didn't really make the grade.

When applying the eyeshadow you had to spend time building the shadow up to deepen the colour to what it in my opinion should have been in the first place. Once on it only lasted an average to even slightly short time, which I felt it could have done better on.

In terms of packaging I liked it better than the other single I got from a different brand, this looked tidier as a liitle case, but if I buy a single eyeshadow I usually prefer a pot or compact one which is a lot bigger.

As far as a single goes it is not too awfully priced, however I could buy a pallette of 4 singles for $5 that worked better so I think there is a lot of room for improvement.
