Let's all face it, eyeshadow is expensive! This palette was so cheap on iherb! So the quality isn't the very best I have seen but I really wasn't expecting it to be for the price. Honestly, the best part about this is the bang for your buck. My favourite thing is the variety of browns! Sometimes I am doing my eyeshadow and the colours aren't blending and I immediately grab this; you can easily find the perfect colour to fill in. Often you see experts do an amazingly blended eye with 2-3 colours. But we aren't all experts! So grab this and perfect your brown (and other colours) shading!

Tips: Great for beginners and people who want a lot of options for little money
I brought this as a great little versatile pallet that I could throw in my bag to take away with me. That part worked out okay... I found the powder very light and flakey. I like a bit of depth to my colours and for them to look a bit boldish not like I've been wearing them for a couple of days. They didn't hold as well as I would have liked and are quite transparent. in saying that however, I gave it to a young lady who is just starting to use makeup and she loves it! The exterior was great for me travelling but the colours weren't quite up to my normal e.l.f. expectations
Tips: cheap and cheerful and great for starters!
This is a good eye shadow palette for those who are on a budget or just starting out doing makeup. I got this for under $10 on iHerb and did not expect much from it because it was quite cheap.
The packaging looks very cheap and plastic. It took me awhile to figure out how to close it properly. The magnetic strip doesn't seem very strong, however it does keep the 'book' from opening. However, it's very travel friendly.
I found the shadows were very small and closely packed to each other, this made it hard to get the product onto brushes and/or fingers. Also the eye shadows flack easily so the case just becomes one big giant mess. I didn't find the colours pigmented enough (had to apply on layers of it before the colour shows nicely).
The only thing I did like was that it came with a small mirror. I probably won't recommend this to a friend though.
Tips: Use a Q-Tip instead of brushes or fingers
I love elf but sadly these wernt really for me. I found them chalky and flaky and not really pigmented. But you cant really complain as its super affordable and theres a load of colours. Would be great for someone starting out or a younger girl. The case is durable and protects the product well.
I love this palette so much! It's great for colorful looks and costume makeup. It's also small which is great for storage! The only issue is that the colors are a bit light. Other than that, a great purchase
Tips: use a white cream eyeshadow before applying for a richer color
I got given this as I gift abd I cant say im too keen on the colors but it is very versatile and can be used in any makeup look, I find that it is quite powdery and dry which I do not particularly like the pigmentation is ok by my standards but it is not at all terrible, like all e.l.f products if the quality is eh, its had to complain as the price of the product is very affordable.
Bought this when I was overseas so it was an ok travel companion in that it gave me options without adding a huge amount of weight to my (already overweight) luggage.
I am normally a huge fan of e.l.f. products but this one really lets them down. I do like that it gives you a range of options to choose from however, I really only used about two of the shades. I found them quite glittery which is a bit annoying for day time wear also.
I am not a fan of the packaging - personally I think it looks a little cheap. Other products in the e.l.f. range look much higher quality than this does. I didn't find the eyeshadows lasted all day either.
Overall, for the price it was worth a try. I just wish that the packaging was nicer, the quality better (to match that of their other products) and that it had a better range of colours.
Tips: Worth a shot for the low price but not the product for me. Place a tissue under your eye to stop some of the glittery residue falling all over your cheeks.
I was given both the warm and the cool version of this ELF beauty book. While the cool version is kind of "cool" with some easy to use shades, I was a bit disappointed with the warm palette. Here are some reasons. First of all, the quality of the whole package is not satisfying, The colors got broken so easily. I never dropped the palette but 4 of the colours were broken and I don't know why.
The shades themselves are a little, I may say, boring. The yellow trays look exactly the same and there's no difference when I tried to apply the blue or navy shade on me. I wonder why ELF producers had to make it 48 nearly-the-same shades while they can just make 20 variety of colours. The texture of the eye colours gives a "cheap" feeling. I used eye primer but the colours can hardly stay for more than 2 hours. They kept sticking to the brush as well.
I got this palette a long long time ago and it is not something I would recommend to anyone to be quite honest. It is extremely cheap so I guess you can't expect tooo much but there are plenty of affordable yet fantastic shadows out there (such as sleek, chi chi, wet n wild, essence, MUA...just to name a few!) and this just isn't one of them.
First of all the packaging of this leaves a lot to be desired and unfortunately it just screams cheap. The outer is a shiny black plastic material which is functional, closing nicely but just not pretty. The design of the palette on the other hand is not functional...the shadows are quite small and tightly packed, making it annoyingly hard to get your brush into a single shade and move it around to get some colour on it.
The shadows themselves do not redeem this palette...they are chalky, drying on the eye, poorly pigmented, create fall out, are not the easiest to blend and work with and do not stay looking nice throughout the day.
I just ended up binning mine as it was nothing I look for in an eye shadow palette. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not even a beginner as it would just make things harder working with such a difficult product and put you off.
Tips: Use a primer to help increase pigmentation.
I purchased this from iherb maybe a year or more ago and it is still going strong it is the perfect size for on the go which is what sold me on it to begin with. It is a self sealing wallet book type palette. It has a variety of shades that compliment each other well (in more bronzes etc the picture up top is of the cool palette not warm palette ) The shadows themselves are creamy and pigmented it even has a small mirror granted probably a bit small to go all out but better than none all around a fab palette to add to the collection
