I won one of these bad boys, right at the time when I was investigating replacing my highlighting powder. It's a good sized product, it has lasted me months and still going strong, with 3-4 times a week use. At the price though, I would be hesitant to purchase again.
It also has a secure cap, although I worry about carrying it in a full makeup bag, because it is one of those highlighter wands where you push in the button on the bottom, and highlighter comes out amongst the bristles of the applicator; I worry that the button will get bumped/compressed in my bag, and I'll get wasted product coming out (hasn't happened yet though).
The highlighter is a great colour, a soft gold which isn't overly sparkly. I apply it along the lengths of my cheekbones, fanning out a little on the cheeks. One pump will do one cheek generously, apply with the brush and then blend gently to ensure there are no lines or streaks.
It really does have a great effect in photos, you look very luminescent.
I won this, and I'm glad I didn't pay $55 for it! Not only did it make mys kin incredibly oily looking (no glowey- greasy!) I didn't find it sat well with other makeups- if I used it over foundation is moved the other products, and under powder the glow just mattifies and vanishes. So basically, unless you have flawless skin and need no coverage, it;s kinda a no-go. I also can't help but hate anything that has an in build brush.. it's so unhygienic! you ut it on your face, then into the cap (while wet), then back into your face, the produst sits in the bristles with your skin cells and oil, just EW! no thanks. Also, just because the product sits on the bristles, they harden and clump together. it's kinda just a fail on all fronts for me.
Tips: try australis liquid strobe
