Trilogy Vitamin C Moisturising Lotion Reviews

i received a free sample of this through trilogy as a promo (think first x amount of orders). i had been wanting to try this and the booster for ages so naturally, i ordered as soon as i pulled the car over hahahaha.

usually their lotions smell a bit rosey, or flowery at least but this one... doesn't really smell like anything to me. it's not unpleasant, its just.. there. i think it is still flowery, just, but super mild.

the lotion itself is lovely and creamy and pushes out easily of the tube no matter the temperature. i have found with trilogy using less is more, same goes for this. too much and i turn super greasy and it doesnt absorb, but the right amount works wonders.

it is to brighten the skin but i cant say i've noticed much of a difference. my skin isnt that dull, not that i think anyway, but this hasn't caused it to be anything else, either. it works, in the way that it doesn't work, if that makes sense! haha. no breakouts, i'm moisturized, we're all happy.

i would not repurchase, simply because i like other lotions better!

I brought this Trilogy Vitamin C Moisturising Lotion along with the Vitamin C booster treatment. This lotion didn’t help reduce any sunspots of mine so far... but the product did help make my skin tone look brighter during it’s use. The scent was refreshing... and the lotion wasn’t too heavy... and It felt moisturising on my skin. It kept my face hydrated through the day and night.

When i woke up the next morning, my skin didn’t have that really soft nor smooth touch like when i used their Vitamin C booster, but my face was for sure still hydrated. Not sure if going to repurchase after this tube as it didn’t give me that wow factor.

Was offered a couple of free samples of this as I was headed into farmers a while back and figured why not? Always loved to trial kiwi brands - especially if it costs me nothing! I received this lotion alongside the Vitamin C Booster. I'm all for anything that will give me a glow and brighten and moisturise my skin too, so was excited to get home and trial this. I've used very few Trilogy products before but have heard amazing things about them, this lotion I found has a very strong and noticeable scent when applying it - which doesn't bother me too much but I do prefer subtle to no scent in skincare. You really have to work this into the skin I found even using the tiniest bit covered a good amount but definitely not a quick applying product, It dries somewhat quickly and have found it has an insane tightening effect when used that I loved! The sample sizes are generous and a little goes a long way so used this one sample for roughly 2 weeks before running out. It hasn't made an enormous effect on my skin in terms of brighting my dull skin and I have found it stick in any patches of hair or dry skin on my face - so am unsure wether this will be a full size purchase for me or not.
