I was not really a fan as it did not really remove all the hair. Instead I was left with patches all over and my skin felt very itchy and irritated. It might work better should it be applied before shower and waiting a while before getting in but that it what the normal version is for.

Tips: Don't use the supplied spunge as it does not really work at removing the hair.
I tried this 2 years ago and regret it to this day. I use this on my arms and followed exactly what the instructions had directed. I didn't however do a patch test - which is my fault. Applying the cream with the sponge was so difficult i ended up using my hands, the sponge got all clogged up and wasn't spreading smoothly. I then left it on and got in the shower to wash it off and once I did that I had patches of hair still left all over my arms so had to shave those anyway. The worst part was in about 2-3 hours I had a serious-looking red rash all over my arms. If you have sensitive skin do NOT use this its not worth the hassle.
Sometimes I get lazy with shaving my legs and let them grow wild! I grabbed this cause I thought it would be easy to apply and then I could just jump in the shower and be hair free.....not the case unfortunately.
First off it stinks! I absolutely despise the smell. Second it is so fiddly to apply, the sponge is useless and gets covered in cream and it is just so messy. Thirdly as soon as I applied I could feel it starting to burn.....ugh not a fun time.
I managed to leave it for a few minutes then I just had to get it off. Hardly any hair come off and my legs were left a lovely shade of red and I still looked like a wookie.
So sorry to say I would not recommend this at all. I don't know why I thought this was a brilliant idea in the first place. My suggestion is just stick to a razor.
I bought this because after shaving my legs for years, I wanted to try a non-shaving form of hair removal. This review is for the “Sensitive skin” edition.
The cream comes in a 150ml plastic tube which stands on its head. It is accompanied by an oval-shaped sponge which is soft on one side and firmer on the other. Both are packaged together in a clear plastic case against a cardboard backing on which there are printed instructions. The cream itself is white.
The cream is easy to squeeze out of the tube. The instructions say to use the soft side of the sponge to apply the cream to dry skin. The cream is to be left on for 5 minutes, although they say you can get into the shower after 2 minutes as long as you do not get your legs directly in the water stream. After 5 minutes you are to use the firmer side of the sponge to massage away the hair.
I found that this worked okay, although there were some patches where hair was not removed. Perhaps I did not apply it thickly enough. I did not find the sponge effective at all for sloughing off the removed hair. The cream also has a terrible chemical smell to it. The cream did wash off easily in the shower though, and where the hair did come off well my skin was left feeling very smooth.
Altogether this was quite fiddly, and not as straightforward as shaving, even if it does leave a smoother finish.
I use this one and it works well for me, I only leave on for 3 mintues. because in the past I have burnt myself leaving on for any longer. Usually gets most hair off, if not it easily comes off with tweezers. Also to note it smells nasty. I only use because I dont know which else would be better.?
Tips: Dont leave on for too long, wash off if you feel the burn. not good for large areas.
I didn't like this at all, it didn't get all the hairs off so I ended up having to shave the patches it missed which was a bit of a hassle. After applying quite a bit to my legs and leaving it on for the required amount of time, I found it quite hard to take it off with the sponge, so I ended up using an exfoliating glove to remove it all, I found it worked better. It left my legs feeling soft, apart from on the patches it missed. I won't be purchasing again, it just didn't work for me. The smell was a strong chemical smell which I really didn't like, I'd rather soap and a razor.
The sponge got clogged up straight away and couldn't really be anything other than one use, exfoliated side not rough enough either. Slightly nicer scent but come out patchy and slightly red
I have eczema on my legs and when i used this product it felt like it burned my skin, i was red n itchy for a long time afterwards.
I was so excited about trying this product. It has so much potential! But I didn't like it at all. The cream itself was very hard to apply especially when your hands are coated in it and it seamed to go EVERYWHERE. The sponge was hopeless and got clogged up before you had removed the cream from 1/4 of the leg and once the cream was removed I don't think it removed as muh hair as I would have hoped for. I still had to shave with a razor afterwards.
The smell of this stuff is potent and reminds me a bit of a mixture of perm solution and bleach. And it feels like it's going to burn off your nostril hairs while you breath it in
Over all this isn't worth your time or money
I picked up a couple these ones here. There’s other brands that do this type of hair removal.
Packaging is on point. I do like the sponge applicator . Make sure you have a spatula bowl and please do a skin test first . Consistency is creamy.
Overall I recon it was really bad on fine hairs it works but not thick coarse black hair .
Tips: Use gloves to keep hands from burning . Caution please here.
