I brought this because as a busy Mum I often have no time to shave let alone have a shower alone. First impression the cream was so smelly and not at all pleasant. The cream applied pretty easy but I gave up on the sponge and just used my hand. After the waiting time I removed the cream with the sponge. I have to admit my legs did feel silky but I also was disappointed about the amount of hair left behind. I ended up shaving my legs anyway to remove all the hair. I have fine blond hairs on my legs so this may have been a factor in my dissatisfaction.

Tips: Might be better suited for darker hair and if you can leave it on a bit longer than suggested by the product
I decided to treat myself and purchase this item. It's alot more expensive then I would normally pay which puts me off buying again. I like the different shades of pink and the easy of instructions. The cream is very thick, and easy to apply the the little sponge provided with it. I found it difficult to get use putting on dry skin and often forgot until was in shower. The cream is easy to remove with the white side of the sponge. surprisingly it removed the hairs extremely well and unlike other veet products did not react badly with my sensitive skin. over all love the product
Tips: Only use a thin layer
I thought I would try this hair removing cream out for a change instead of shaving. The packaging is nice and the product comes in an upside down squeezable tube. It also comes with a exfoliating sponge to help wash the hair removal cream off. The product itself was easy to apply but very sticky and messy. It also had a really disgusting smell to it, which smelt like eggs or something. I found this product did not work very well to remove the hairs as there were still heaps after I had washed the product off. Overall I am very disappointed with this product and will not be repurchasing.
I hate shaving every couple of days so picked this up thinking it could eliminate the need of the dreaded task of shaving. Unfortunately, it has not proved itself to be a satisfactory replacement to shaving for me.
First of all, this is presented nicely and functionally packaged in an easy to use squeeze tube. I apply a thin layer of this before my shower and wait over 3 mins before getting into the shower so none of the product washes off and I can hopefully get the best results possible (It is however as it states water resistant and stays on fine if you chose to jump in the shower and wait the specified time). The first thing I noticed about this and really disliked was the intense chemical smell. It smells similar to hair dye which can't be all that good for you and not something I would want to be trapped in the shower with (we have a shower dome!). It smells exactly the same as any other hair removal creme I have tried in the past, however, I must admit I was disappointed by this as it is marketed as full of essential oils and to have a velvet rose fragrance which I could not detect during or after using the product.
After about 6 minutes (which is the maximum time you should apparently leave the product on for) I wash the creme off...(which takes considerable effort I might add) and are left with 'smooth-ish' legs. For the effort involved and cost of this product I am pretty disappointed that it doesn't give you totally hairless legs which are equally as smooth to a close shave from a razor. I also only got about three whole leg applications from a tube of this which in comparison to other hair removal methods is probably about as expensive as it gets considering the results only last as long as shaving. I also felt like as thoroughly as I washed my legs I still had residue of the product on my legs (this could have been the essential oils though) and could still smell the scent of the product on my skin even after showering. The one benefit from using this is that I didn't get any irritation in terms of razor burn or nicks etc only a tiny bit of itchiness immediately after washing it off (I have super sensitive skin though).
Overall, I won't be repurchasing this and wouldn't recommend this product to anyone else as the results are not amazing and it is certainly not value for money.
Tips: Wear a gas mask?!
I got this as I get sick of shaving on such a regular basis and am always looking for something that will prolong the agony of having to deal with my legs so much. I out this on before my shower and waited the stated amount of time before getting in the shower. Then after a apfew more minutes I removed the cream with the sponge as directed. It did remove some of the hair but I had big patches where it didn't do much and I still had to shave anyway. For the amount of product I had to use to cover my legs I don't think this would be a very cost effective way to continue with anyway.
There really isn't much wrong with the product, I find it's the sponge that's the problem. You're meant to apply it with one side, which is softer, then remove it with the other side. The application side just sucks up the product and the remover side just doesn't help pull off any hair at all. I used a scraper-like tool that I got with a different product and it made a definite difference. The product is pretty thin compared to some others and I like to leave it on for longer than is recommended because my hairs are so stubborn. I don't find that it slows down the time it takes for my hair to grow back. I only use it when I've gotten lazy and my hair is super long on my legs. Also don't use it if you've got any open wounds. I thought it would help for removing hair under my arms where I have a skin condition but it really irritated it.
Tips: Don't use on any open wounds.
Its definitely not one of the greatest hair remover products out there but for the price it does what its supposed to do.
The "velvet rose fragrance" could have been more prominent however it did leave my skin feeling quite velvety once the whole process was completed.
I found that I had to apply the cream to my legs more than once for it to be completely smooth and hair free so I did not get much use out of the bottle (maybe I just have tough hair lol).
I find that wax strips work much better than this product and it also leaves your legs smoother for longer.
Tips: I now use the sponge to do my ombre nails. ;) it really works well
I was very disappointed with this product at $18.I found it didn't work as well as other products and I had to use twice each time so very time consuming. Easy to apply which was good and easy pop off lid which I liked . The smell was the usual hair removal smell which I didn't like but I don't think that matters as once washed away no longer applies.
Tips: Other products out there are better than this one for the price.
It's been a while since I used this product but I remember it very well. It came in a nice easy to use tube with a pop off lid (hate the screw on ones when you have product in your hands) One side of the sponge is great for applying the cream to the desired area. And then you leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
After you've waited you can then proceed to rub off the cream (and hair) with the scratchy side of the sponge in the shower and off it all comes and reveals nice silky smooth skin.
I found that there was decent amounts of product in the tube for the price so i got a few applications out of it. And the smell wasn't too overpowering but still smelled like 'hair removal cream' Which can't be helped really.
Overall I did really like this product and I would purchase again and reccommend.
Tips: Try scratching a bit of the cream off after you think it's been on long enough and if the hair doesn't come with leave it a little longer. Be sure not to leave it on too long as it can cause chemical burning.
The one great thing about this product is in theory it seems easy enough to use, however I was very disappointed in this product.
It came in very easy to use packaging to beginning with, but when your hands ended up being covered in cream it was quite hard to squeeze out more. Its also quite hard to get a nice even coat all over the legs.
The smell is something else and just smells like hair being burnt from chemicals! Which essentially is what your doing, no amount of fragrance could mask that putrid smell. It also is quite the hassle to stand around and wait for the time to come to wipe it off.
The sponge provide aides somewhat in getting the cream off but quickly becomes coated so your constantly washing it off. I would say it takes about 70% of the hairs off. Overall this product isn't worth the hype and I would never put something that smelt this strong of chemicals near my skin again. I would not repurchase.
