I bought this lip balm after enjoying most of Ecostore's other products, expecting something similarly nice. Now I don't know if this is just me, but I REALLY disliked this lip balm! Literally the only things I liked about it were the packaging and the fact that Ecostore is a super ethical company. The two main things I didn't like about it were:
1. The smell of this lip balm really didn't appeal to me. I'm not a massive honey scent person anyway, but in this product it smelled almost fermented? Sort of like Lukas Paw Paw Ointment.
2. The consistency of this is similarly more like Lukas Paw Paw Ointment - you squeeze it out of the tube in sort of a thick balm, rather than a solid balm. As a result it was really hard to get the right amount of product, as a little went a really long way.
There's nothing technically wrong with this product, I'm sure lots of people would love it! But definitely go into it expecting an ointment-type balm rather than a solid balm.
This balm has a greasy feel to it and is squeezed out of the tube. It does moisturize however I much prefer their beeswax balm which tends to last longer. It is natural which I like and with manuka honey I will use this on little cuts etc as an ointment. It can be used as a lip gloss which can also be applied on top of lipstick.
Tips: Use as a natural lip gloss
