After seeing this in Farmers one day and becoming intrigued by the applicator, and that you would seemingly need only one product to both fill in and set brows, I purchased it. It cost $22.99, though I am pretty sure I got it for 20% off, but I found it wasn't quite worth it either way.
It comes in a large rectangular tube, and when you unscrew it you see the wand - half is your typical spooley bristle wand, and the other half is like that of a lip gloss applicator but a bit longer, though L'Oreal calls it a felt tip. Supposedly you can use the felt tip applicator to draw on and fill any bald spots in the brow, and then use the spooley part to style your brow hairs and fix them in place. I chose the dark brown colour I believe, and the texture of this product is a bit thicker than your average tinted brow gel. I found it worked fine with the applicator to draw the shape of the brow, but if you went back over to try and smooth it out or further fill it in it became patchy - dark in some places and sheer in others. It dried fast, and made my brow hairs quite sticky, so when I went back over with the spooley side it became messy and hard to comb through my brows. It lasted all day with no problems, and I think I even went swimming while using this product once and it still stayed.
Though the idea behind this product is good, unfortunately it just doesn't work how it should and even though it wears well the fuss around application makes it just not worth it. There are better brow products out there for around the same price that give a similar effect even if they aren't conveniently combined into one product
I'm really new at defining my eyebrows and I found this product really helpful. I practiced a bit first and found that as long as you use a minimal amount at a time, it works so well. I use the tip first to define and fill in any gaps and then brush my brows into place and they set. I really like this in rhe dark brown shade. It's a keeper. Give it a try!
