I have the lip pencil in the shade Bad habit (matches to Mirror Mirror lippie stick). I was very impressed with this lip pencil! It is highly pigmented, soft and goes on smoothly. It doesn't drag on the lips either which is great. Its easy to get the pencil into the small parts of your lips so its super easy to apply and precise. They don't look like pencils but they are! So you can sharpen them as you normally would. This is perhaps my favourite lip pencil, its a shame you can only buy them online!

ColourPop Pencil Review
Colour Pop Pencil This long wearing high intensity lip pencil glides on easily, acts as a barrier for lipsticks and prevents feathering. Use the Lippie Pencil to shade the outer most edge of your lip line, for longer wear, fill in lips completely with your Lippie Pencil. Follow with your matching Lippie Stix.

I love these lipliners, they glide on easily and don't emphasise any lines or dryness on the lips. I have tried a number of drugstore lipliners and these are by far my favourite. I have the shades Skimpy and Bossy and I absolutely love both of them, Bossy matches perfectly to its corresponding Lippie Stix, and Skimpy is very similar to Cookie, but works nicely with Brink and on its own!
Are and Be Lippie Pencil, a rich mauve shade. Beautiful and silky in texture which makes application so easy. This paired with the Lippie Stix I didn't like so much. I noticed slight feathering on the lower lip. However match it with Are and Be in the liquid form and you have a match made in heaven! This liner keeps things in the lines and helps give a beautiful soft matte finish.
I've tried this pencil with other liquid and non liquid forms of lipstick and I found it helped keep liquid lipsticks perfectly in line. Lipsticks that weren't a matte formula didn't sit well with this pencil.
I love the formula of this lip pencil I do wish it was versatile with many types of lipsticks
These lip liners are super pigmented and creamy and so affordable too. I have only been using them for a few weeks so I don't know how I'm going to go about sharpening them. They all come with corresponding lippie stix so it's super handy because you don't need to figure out what lip liner goes with what lip stick. Super great quality and I can't wait to buy more
ColourPop lipliners are my hands down favourite liners OF ALL TIME! The are so darn cheap and their formula is to die for! They are smooth and glide on flawlessly with just one swipe! My only issue with them is I can figure out how to wind them up/down? Bit of an issue as I want more product!
Tips: Wear alone or with your fave lippy!
Colour pop was a huge hit last year with lots of Beauty addicts swarming to try this brand out. After trying their creamy shadows and lippie sticks I had to ge my hands on one of these pencils to try out. Im apart of a group that imports make up direct from these companys. I got an ultra matte liquid lipstick and this pencil.
This pencil is made of plastic and is white. The colour I chose is Bitchette. Its a deep burnt burgundy red lip liner. I have alot of dark red lipsticks and wanted to find a suitable liner. When I swatched this on my hand its creamy with a matte finish. Theres no scent at all. Be careful these do smudge specially this dark color. It is quite staining too.
Before I used this liner I like to go over my lips with the nyx wonder pencil . I found the precision with this liner excellent. The colour pay off is pigmented and rich. I find shapening this easy but it did smudge on the handle of my pencil which was a let down. Couldn't get it it out of the white.
Overall I think their supper affordable at $5 us. I think it's easier to jump on with a group as it reduces shipping costs. I found this lasted me all day without retouching and I wore it as as a full lip colour. It makes perfect outlines for my lipsticks. I would definately buy more. So far the best pencil in my collection to date.
These lip pencils are lovely and creamy. I love that you can buy the matching liner to the lipstick and they glide on so smoothly. Affordable if ordered with a bunch of stuff to save on postage but these aren't a must have. They come in a white outer pencil and are easily sharpened.
There’s nothing really jaw-dropping about these pencils for me. They’re pigmented, long wearing and glide on like a dream but other than that they’re just your usual lip liner. I don’t think they’re a must-have unless you like to co-ordinate your pencils with the corresponding Colourpop Lippie Stix but I can find dupes in my existing collection.
What I love most about these pencils is probably the formulation - it’s a beautiful creamy formula that sits comfortably on the lips and is non-drying. I do like the price point of $USD5.00 (i.e. $NZD7.50 depending on the exchange rate) compared to some other brands that charge an arm and a leg for a creamy formula but drying after a few hours. I do feel that the pencils help to really seal in the colour when used in conjunction with the lippie stix - better than if using a different lip pencil but could I live without it? Absolutely. I think the staying power is quite good – because they're creamy they tend to bleed so I spend more time cleaning up as opposed to touching up.
The pencils are the same build as the NYX Slim Pencils but they sharpen like a MAC pencil which is what annoys me most. When you sharpen the pencil it’s kind of a stubby point so don’t expect precision after the first use – I sharpened it just now to be sure haha. The white packaging is lovely but the ones that are in rotation right now have marks on them; no big deal but if you’re wanting them to stay clean you may want to keep them separate from the other makeup items.
Lumiere is a beautiful mauve rose shade and you can definitely wear the lip pencil on its own and going forward I’ll probably just repurchase either the pencil or the lippie stix I don’t need both. I bought mine from Colourpop using Shipito – they ship direct to NZ too (based on weight) but it worked out cheaper for me to get free shipping in the US (over certain amount) and pay for shipping costs in one go together with other parcels.
Especially the more 'crazy' colours! I love how pigmented and creamy they are though, and I find that Brills (lavender purple) goes excellently under MAC Kelly Osborne Dodgy Girl, for which I had been looking for a line to pair with since the day I bought it. ColourPop pencils are awesome.
Tips: Use alone, with a lipstick or set with a translucent powder if you don't want to add any more colour. xxx
These are lovely, creamy with high pigmentation lip pencils, that are easy to apply and stay fast. Very affordable if you go in with someone for the shipping and offer quick a variety of shade options.
The only problem I have encountered is that there is the odd couple that have been too creamy and end up snapping when using the lightest of pressure or that the product bleeds up into the skin surrounding the lips. For those that are too creamy and snap I have popped into the freezer for a few minutes to re firm them and found that they are back to performing well, however those that bleed on me hit the bin, I have no time for fussy liners.
