Recently read an article on BR about trying locally made natural products. Bought myself a sample set and a couple of full sized products. A previous dermalogica Microfoliant advocate I must say that Oasis products and specifically the fruit smoothie scrub are excellent. Nothing fake or overpowering a naturally gentle but at he same time gives the skin decent scrub. I also use on the chest and décolletage area. Nice solid packaging - shower proof and a good pump action with small spout not letting too much out saving wastage. I am a new convert. If you are looking for a natural locally made product that actually works leaving the skin supple but 'scrubbed' and fresh then this is a decent inexpensive value for money option.

Tips: You can use it as a mask which means you effectively have two products in one. Do follow with a serum to rehydrate though. And use this product more than once to really see how your skin can get value form it.
One word AMAZING!! I would never go back to a beauty salon for a facial after using this. I cleansed my face then smoothed the product over my face. The colour initially was a bit surprising but get over that because the results are OMG. After leaving on for about 10 minutes I rinsed it off first using my hands then as a final rinse with a washcloth. My skin felt smooth and refreshed and ready to soak up a moisturiser.
Tips: Set time aside and enjoy.
I am about 50% of my way through my bottle of this and I'm loving it.
I was looking for a new scrub that wasn't too harsh and not full of plastic microbeads. I sent away for a sample after learning about them here, and I was so pleased that I bought the full sized version as soon as my sample ran out.
The product itself is a sort of medicinal-looking orange/beige, but don't let that put you off. There's a pleasant fruity scent which is a nice sensory experience, but it's not too overpowering or lingering, so there's no clash with your other products.
I have found that I have used this a lot more as an exfoliant than a mask. I scrub with it approximately every 3 days after cleansing and I absolutely love the soft, smooth feeling that it leaves on my face. I find some scrubs can leave my face feeling tight and dry, so it was great to have none of that aftermath with this product. As for not using it much as a mask, this is really only because I have been using a different mask that I like more. I don't think it's ineffective as a mask, but I have a different preference.
I like the practicality of the packaging. The pump is easy to use and is one of those ones that pushes up from the bottom to make sure you get all the product out. I loathe the wastage and difficulty of use that you can get with the other style of pump! The bottle is clear enough that you can see whats left too.
I have already recommended this to friends and I'm very likely to buy it again.
This is one smoothie that goes down a treat, natural and organic and just yummy. Attractive enough it looks and smells clean and green good for your skin and friendly. A nice see through pump action bottle pretty enough to hold its own with any high end product sitting on the bathroom cabinet. This is a lovely dusky pink coloured gritty lotion that has a citrus/ fruity scent that is amazing. There are a couple of ways to use this use as a masque and the exfoliate off or exfoliate and leave it on as a masque. I have found this to be a skin brightening treatment for me, my skin does look smoother and softer. I get a lovely exfoliating treatment with this and I'm sure the enzymes in this mask do my skin wonders leaving my skin feeling invigorated and alive. Gone are any traces off dry flakey patchy skin. I'm a bit on the heavy handed side with this as I put it down my neck as well and maybe in a previous life I was a giraffe so I use a bit. Im really happy with the smoothness of my skin using this. A lovely product well worth the money.
How has Oasis been around for so long without them appearing on my skincare loving radar? I really have OngTheFarmer to thank for putting them in the spotlight. So far I've tried a number of their products and loved them - and Oasis' Fruit Smoothie is no exception.
The packaging is similar to other Oasis products, a pump bottle, which lifts up from the bottom to ensure you get every drop of the product right to the very end (I love that!). It's simple, yet sophisticated, and looks nice sitting in my mouldering shower.
After cleansing I use two pumps for good measure before applying as an exfoliator whilst showering, then leave for two minutes while I faff about conditioning my hair, cleaning Miss 2, brushing teeth, before washing off. You know what surprised me? The scent. I expected it to be quite fruity, but it's really sweet and creamy smelling. You get the odd burst of fruit, but nothing like I would've expected. I would prefer a more fruity smelling product, but you know what? If I want to smell a fruit smoothie, I'll buy a real one. It's what happens after using the product that counts right?
Even as you wash away the remnants of the 'smoothie' you can feel your skin is softer, and when you look in the mirror post-drying off *pow*. Your skin (well, at least mine does) really does glow, and looks clearer. I also find after using it my serums and moisturiser, followed by my makeup, glide on easily.
As far as exfoliators go, this has to be the best I've ever tried. It's a little pricey, but a little product goes a long way, and you only need to use it once or twice a week. Can't recommend this enough!
After a week of stressful studying, my skin was looking dull, uneven and bumpy. I decided I needed a pickup and reached for the Oasis Fruit Smoothie.
The product itself reminded me of BB cream, with the colour, being a beige/brown! The product has a thick consistency and can sit on the palm of my hand without moving, however the texture was silky, and had an almost velvet consistency, with the exfoliating beads being small, and gentle within this product. I could not describe the product as having a fruity smell, but instead, I found the product had a subtle almond essence fragrance. Not sure if I’m the only one who compared it to this, but that’s what It smells like to me!
This product is easy to apply, and I usually just use my fingers for application. The product spreads out in a thin layer, which is all you need for great results. I left this mask on for 15-20 minutes, and although my face did slightly tighten when the product dried, it was not an uncomfortable feeling. After the product dried, I wet my hands and began using the product for its next purpose- an exfoliator. The beads were so gentle, and it actually felt nice that my skin was getting some TLC.
The results- Wow, my tired and stressed skin looked like it was brand new. I think the best words to describe the results are ‘fresh’ and ‘radiant’. Because that’s exactly what my skin looked like. What’s more it, my skin felt so good, I had to actually restrain myself for touching my face non-stop. That’s how good it felt! Additionally, I have dry combination skin, and this product did not dry my skin out, which is rare, and makes it a winner in my books.
The only slightly negative aspect about this product is the price. As much as I love it, it will be hard to repurchase at the moment, due to my student budget. However, I do think this product is worth the price, so when it comes on special, or when I can manage to save up enough money, I will definitely be repurchasing.
Tips: Ask Oasis for a sample of this product before you buy it, great way to try it before you buy it.
I cannot believe this company is not more well known and widespread world wide. I had never heard of this brand until I saw the free samples mentioned in the forum.
I love EVERYTHING about this brand, the bright packaging, the natural ingredients and not to mention it works!.
The smoothie itself doesn't have the usual boring natural product smell, it has a very faint fruity smell which makes it very tolerable while it works it magic. I love how its a dual action product aka masque and scrub with the super fine beads.
The packing packaging is awesome, many masques come in tubs which mean you contaminate what you don't use. Not to mention a pump is just convenient.
Straight away my skin felt soft smooth and look radiant. The next morning my pores looked drastically reduced (after suffering acne 15 years this is almost a miracle)
As my budget allows I am slowing converting to this brand.
I am so glad I found these products before upcoming wedding. I am now semi confident to allow a professional see my skin to apply make up on the big day.
Tips: I have had amazing results using this product following a pore strip.
I was very excited to try this product after hearing nothing but amazing things. Personally, I was a little underwhelmed after opening it up and seeing how small the bottle was, but after using it a couple of times I had completely moved passed it. This 3 in 1 product really is amazing. I really enjoy the small beads that gently exfoliate my skin without drying it out. I have naturally dry skin anyway and this has really helped remove flaky skin and keeping it supple and soft. I was especially impressed when I used it dry before my shower as a mask. Its so good! I am a little disappointed in the smell as I thought it would smell fruity considering the name, but it’s more for the ingredients list than the smell. It’s not too off putting though. I found the packaging good, but the pump size wasn’t quite big enough as I’d have to pump it 6 or so times to get enough for a mask, but only 3 or so for normal exfoliation. Price wise, it’s probably a bit on the expensive side for me, but it does seem to last a little while as it’s only a ‘sometimes’ product. I’ve had the bottle for a few months now and I’m still only halfway through it.
Tips: Experiment with all ways to use this product to get the best satisfaction out of the product.
I was very excited to receive this product from Oasis as a sample to have a 'try before I buy'. From the reviews on here, the product seems great but when I got it in the post, I was a little disappointed. They give you a very generous amount which went nicely on my face, but I didn't find the product to be much of a mask. After rubbing it in, I discovered I was also just rubbing the clay off, and after letting it set, it was a mission to get the rest off my face even after using the recommended products (I had a sample of their Milk Cleanser which I used). I liked that it was natural and cruelty free, but if I wanted a cleaner looking face, I would have to use my chemical scrub mask.
Tips: Make sure you really clean it off afterwards, the clay can leave your face feeling stiff.
First impressions are a simple streamlined durable cylindrical plastic tube, the pump is a bit different in that it doesn't use a tube to extract the product from the container and when the product is thick (or cold) it can be a bit stubborn to come out. The paste itself is a pinky/brown and gritty, smells nice and not overpowering nor overly fruity given the name (I think it smells like a nice boutique spa/salon), and has a good consistency.
I love the fact that you can use this as a mask or a exfoliating scrub (or both), and is good value for money as it lasts a long time with twice weekly use.
The end result of skin texture being smooth and supple (immediate effect), reduced blemishes and balances out skin tone are all subtle changes over a few weeks.
Skin feel hydrated and not dry after use like some other clay masks can, I would say this is due to the shea butter.
My added bonus' for this product are that they are local, organic, and an animal friendly brand <3
Comes with good clear instructions for use and the girls at Oasis are happy to answer any question via the phone (my pump wouldn't work at first and they are very friendly and helpful). I also love how you can see how much is left down the side of the tube.
Tips: I tried this in a sample pot first and I just had to buy it. I will be re-purchasing it again too.
