I wanted to try some Simple skincare products, so I bought a kit which included this moisturizer in a 50mL travel size version.
The moisturiser comes in the typical white and green Simple packaging. The packaging looks alright, although the labelling looks a bit too 'busy' to me due to all the various claims on the bottle. The moisturiser comes in a bottle with a screw off cap and the moisturiser is supposed to be poured out. I found the packaging really awkward to use as the moisturiser is quite thick, and won't pour out, so I have to squeeze it out, and it's not a squeezy bottle. I feel like this would be a lot easier to use if it was in a squeezy tube.
The moisturizer is white in colour and has a thick, creamy consistency. A little of this goes a long way, which is a positive in my book. The scent of this though smells a bit like PVA glue to me, which I find a bit off putting.
I have oily skin, and often nasty breakouts, and I look for moisturizers than can hydrate my skin, without irritating my breakouts or making my skin more oily. This product definitely fulfilled those needs. This is very gentle, and didn't irritate my breakouts, so I'd recommend this for those with sensitive skin. This made my skin feel soft, and hydrated without feeling slimey or looking shiny or oily.
This is an affordable moisturizer, and I'd consider purchasing the full size product, despite the scent and awkward packaging as this made my skin feel lovely.
I really enjoyed using this moisturiser. My skin felt plump after applying and the glycerin in it made my makeup glide on top smoothly. The only downside I could find with this product is the lack of SPF, however I have another sunscreen I use so I was not too worried about that. I have combination skin that is very sensitive and I found this moisturiser did not break me out.
