This eye cream is so cooling and soothing, I just love using it every morning and night. As with the other products in this range, it comes in the most beautiful wee amber glass jar with cute pink label and a little of the product goes a long way. Eye creams are one of the hardest products to buy for me as my eye area is so much sensitive and will often puff up from reactions to certain creams. A few dots of this eye cream applied to just below the eye socket and just above the brow bone and patted gently into the skin using your ring finger is all you need to soothe and calm the eye area, allowing gravity to take effect, and it helps remove puffiness and my dark circles and redness around my eyes seems to have decreased also since using! Sometimes I must admit have snuck a little on during the day to instantly refresh my eyes. As eye creams do it comes in a smaller 25ml jar and says it will "smooth and calm sensitive skin" and it does. Some of the key ingredients are maqui berry, SyriCalm and aloe vera. I can really feel the aloe vera when I apply it as it is very cooling and soothing. Syricalm is a soothing botanical complex used in the treatment of stressed and sensitive skin, relieving itching, reducing redness and improving the quality of the skins barrier function. It has a nice, natural, barely there smell much the same as the other products in the range. It says it is a certified natural lightweight cream, fragrance free, dermatologically tested, no animal testing and non GMO. I really love it and will continue to use it as part of my daily skin care regime as I really feel it is helping my skin and I just love the way it makes my skin feel! It's very luxurious.

Tips: Use the spatula included to scoop just a tiny amount of the product out to avoid cross contamination from fingers. A little goes a long way. Dot the eyecream just below the eye socket and above the brow bone and gently dab using your ring finger to avoid irritating this sensitive skin around the eyes. Use any time you need relief from puffiness or tired eyes!
This cute little eyecream came in a jar. It's pretty, it's luxurious, but it's so impractical. Why on earth force the user to dip their finger into the pot when a tube or even a pump bottle would allow much more precise control of the amount of product you get out. I tried using a spatula to scoop some product, but that still felt wasteful when transferring it onto my finger then onto my eyes.
Onto the actual cream itself. It's nonscented and extremely thick. You only really need a TINY amount for the whole eye area, (another reason I hate the jar type packaging). It's smooth and somewhat calming when applied, and it's almost like an eye massage as I rub this in gently. I feel like it helps plumpen the skin in the area without any irritation. At least in my mind the skin around my eyes are a little bouncier after using this. I also put this on the crow-feet area because you can never start prevention too early! It didn't do much in terms of dark circles when I had bad sleep or the fine lines.
For me eyecream isn't the most vital thing in my skincare, so I wouldn't have included this unless I noticed it working magic. There's so much product that this can easily last me till next year, so hopefully some long term effects start popping up as I continue to use it. For now though, I'm a little conflicted. It feels nice to apply, and somewhat helps with hydration, but it's not a holy grail that I can't live without.
I used the eye cream as part of the whole Trilogy Sensitive Rang review. The eye cream comes in a small pot with a little spatula which you can use to transfer the product out of the pot. I preferred to just use my finger tips. I was really surprised at how rich and creamy this eye cream was compared to other eye creams I've used. The texture was more like a moisturiser. It is so gentle and fragrance free. I had no problems using the cream around the eye areas. My eyes are sensitive and I've had adverse effects with some creams. I love this cream and would definitely buy it again and recommend it for all skin types, you don't need to have sensitive skin to use this cream.
Tips: Only put a small amount on your fingers and massage around the eye area.
This is a little pot of gold! I have never found an eye cream that works so well! All the other eye creams I have used either do nothing or they irritate my eyes leaving them red and sore. This Trilogy Very Gentle eye cream does the exact opposite! As an insomniac I suffer from sore puffy eyes with dark rings under them. This eye cream has been my saviour at the moment. It has calmed the redness and puffiness considerably and has pretty much gotten rid of those pesky dark rings!!! My under eye concealer thanks this product a lot, it no longer has to work as hard! Like the rest of the very gentle range it has maqui berry and SyriCalm with added aloe vera, together this makes for a lovely product. It is like a blend of a cream and a gel, gliding very smoothly over your skin and absorbing very easily. It left my eye area cool and calm, giving relief from any irritation too. I feel like I look more awake and healthy now. The hydration boost to the eye area has also helped to reduce fine lines and give a nice youthful glow. The container is incredibly generous with the amount of product, 25mL worth. A little goes a long long way. It comes with a tapered spatula which makes for great product dispensing! I have been using this day and night for three weeks and barely made a dent, great value for money!
Tips: Use the narrow end of the spatula, gently dip it into the eye cream and it gives you plenty of product for both eyes. I found it was best used after the face oil but before the moisturising cream. Gently dab onto eye area and allow to properly absorb before putting moisturising cream on.
I have been trialling this skincare system for 3 weeks. I am 43 years old with oily skin and have always looked after my skin with quality skincare products. I'm loving this eye cream for it's gentleness. I worked at a computer all day with long hours and find this is very soothing for tired eyes. The packaging is extremely generous and will take a long time to use up. It comes with a spatula to keep the product hygienic which is very important for products around the eyes. I love the brown frosted glass, it looks lovely in any bathroom cabinet. I definitely think this product does what it claims - soothes tired eyes!
Tips: A little goes a long way and use the spatula to keep your product at its best.
I have been trailing this eye cream for 3 weeks now using it twice a day and I love it. This like the rest of the trilogy range comes in a nice class tub with its own little scoop. The cream it self is very light and gentle and did not sting my eyes at all like some of the previous eye creams I have used. It glides on very easily and absorbs into the skin really well. It's applied from the outer eye area towards the nose. it did not leave any greasy or oily feeling and I was able to apply eye make up without any problems. I did notice that my skin around my eye area did not seem as dry as before and the skin tone around my eyes has improved a lot since I have been using this. For the price It is totally worth it as .
Tips: You don't need to use a lot of product, A pea size amount is enough for the whole eye area.
Ok I admit it, this is the first item I tried from the Trilogy Sensitive range, and I love it! At 25 ml's this is a good size, I like the glass jar, but I don't Love it, maybe a small pump type applicator or tube would be better, all this glass can get heavy, (if you are a traveller, your toiletries bag would be super weighty!!) The texture is that of a light lotion and this is not rich and heavy at all. This absorbs quickly into the skin, and it is a light non greasy eye cream, to be honest, this performs at the same level of some higher end eye creams I have used. I use this before my daily moisturiser, and it helps create a smooth base for eye makeup. Eyes and surrounding areas feel smooth and calmed and lightly hydrated, I like this cream so much, I have used it a a light facial moisturiser, and that works really well too. I have found you can use this morning and night, without over moisturising and no greasy eyelids yet. True to Trilogy form this has no scent, and feels really calming when used, this is in the goldilocks zone I feel this is "just right". A must to try if you are in need of a new eye cream, however this has no anti ageing properties whatsoever (would be nice if it did though), and again no SPF.
Tips: Can be used as a facial moisturiser as well, and pop it in the fridge for cool soothing application.
I have inherited really dark eye circles, so even when I am sleeping really well, and drinking loads of water they are usually still lingering. So I was super happy to see this arrive!! As with all the trilogy products the packaging is adorable, in the little glass jar, The formula its self is really velvety and rich yet not super heavy which means it absorbed fast which meant when applying my makeup my under eye concealer sat really nicely on top of the cream and didn't go patchy when blended. As far as under eyes go, It didn't travel and sting my eyes after applying which has happened in the past with other brands and can make for a very uncomfortable day. I felt like the formula was almost cooling so i felt less puffy and more awake when using it, It also did a great job of reducing the dark circles under my eyes which can be a great challenge. As far as fine lines, only time will tell. But overall this little tub will last quite some time as I only need to use a tiny bit at a time, but will be def be repurchasing !!
In a 25 ml brown frosted glass pot, this pale lemon coloured, unscented cream contains the ingredients of macqui berry, Syricalm and Aloe Vera. It also comes with a spatula for hygiene purposes. I wasn't a big fan of this eye cream as I found that it made my eyes sting. I'm not sure if this is because of the consistency (a tad too oily perhaps?), or if I applied too much, but I found that by the afternoon, I was suffering from stingy eyes. It kind of felt like how when soap gets in your eyes? So I stopped using it during the day, and only use it at night. It is a pleasant feeling cream, but I don't feel that it made my eye area look any younger. For this reason and the 'stinginess' I would not purchase.
Tips: Use as a lip cream in the evening also. Just gently pat in a small amount.
I wanted to leave this product until the last minute to review as I didn't get instant results from the get go like I did with the others in the range and wanted to trial for it as long as I could to really give it an honest review.
The packaging is the same as the others in this range, brown frosted glass, simple but pretty labels with instructions on both jar and box.
Comes with a little black spatula to apply product with but I prefer to use my little pinky finger as I use less product this way. I just apply a tiny amount to the grey area under my eyes and dab gently until it has soaked in.
I haven't seen amazing miracle results with this product yet but I'm still hopeful as I have noticed a little difference. The bags under my eyes aren't as dark and grey, they look a little lighter. There is no stinging sensation or irritibility which I sometimes get when I accidentally rub my eyes. This really is a gentle eye cream. I believe this product is one of those you have to use for quite a while before you start seeing results.
At $44.99 it might seem a bit pricey when you look at the size of the jar, but the amount you use each time, you hardly make a dent in it. This will last you for months.
