Duo Adhesive Glue Review

I purchased a few cheap pairs of false lashes from the warehouse to practice application with. I couldn't understand for the life of me why they were not sticking to my eye lids properly

Someone suggested it might be the glue. So on a recommendation I looked into this glue and read the reviews.

With glowing reviews I purchased a tube from an online beauty store for $9 USD. And man am I glad I did!

The white tube is sturdy and the wee nozzle end is easy to get the glue from. Too easy in fact. The glue is white and quite a runny consistency so running the glue along the flash lash isn't ideal, it's quite messy. So I put a strip on the back of my hand and use a cotton bud to transfer it onto the false eyelash.

Make sure you wait for the glue to dry and go tacky before applying, this honestly makes such a huge difference! This glue dries clear and sticks amazingly well. You have enough time to move the lash around before it sets but you do need to work quickly otherwise once it's stuck and you pull it you'll find you need to re apply it as it won't re stick.

Amazing stick,amazing lasting power all round great glue but oh so hard to wash off!

This does take some elbow grease to get off your skin. I will continue to use this product but with the consistency I would love to see it come out with a brush design

i love this lash glue, it works perfect every time. i never have the fear of my lashes coming of when wearing them. i love that the glue drys clear and you can't notice it.

I tried the black coloured glue, and was very surprised! No weird smell, easy squeeze tube which was accurate to use, it became tacky quite fast which made the lashes easier to apply, and no itchy, puffy eyes like I have found with others in the past! And easy to remove, thank goodness just a makeup wipe needed. Great little staple to have around!

When using fake eyelashes, finding the right glue is very very important. Before trying Duo glue I had used either the glue that came with the fake lashes or some other brands. I had a lot of issues with trying to get the lashes to stick, stay down and not pop off during the day.I soon got feed up using cheaper glue options and ended up buying duo glue (& for a fact, it was not even that much more $$$)

This glue is Amazing!! First pop at putting lashes down, they stayed for 12 hours with out the ends popping up and they stuck right away with out any issues on application.

The best part with this glue is you only need a small bit to last all day long.

I have my adhesive in the dark shade, which is great, blends and really well and I have no issues with is messing up my make up with it tone etc.

This is my go-to lash glue. It has great hold, but the lashes still come off easily at the end of the night. I will often buy cheap lashes for a single use and will use this glue rather than the glue they come with.

I do find that you are left with some residue on your eyelids, so a quality makeup remover is needed.

Ever since I started wearing falsies this year I've been trying to find a good eyelash glue so I won't have to use the mini little bottle that you usually get with the eyelashes. I heard tons of good comments about this so I thought I'd try it out. I bought both the clear one and the black one. This one squeezes out really easily and is quite thin. It's easy to control and spread, and doesn't get 'globs' even after being opened for a good couple of weeks. This is easy to remove and the glue dissolves when I hold an eye makeup remover wipe on my eyes for a while. Bought this on ebay for around $5 and have bought another 3 since I started using it!

I always used to use the lash glue that came with the lashes until I'd read reviews on Duo after researching how to apply false lashes as I absolutely SUCKED at it. I eventually purchased some and I'm so glad I did.

It comes in a resealable squeezy tube which is convenient as one tube will last ages. It comes out a thick white liquid which dries completely clear (you can also buy this in a dark formula which dries black). It smells faintly fishy when you first squeeze it out but not nearly as bad as some other lash glue's I've used.

The way I've found to best use this is put a dollop on a clean flat surface (i.e cardboard or makeup compact lid) and then either run the lash through it or use a cotton tip to coat the lashband. Wait for the glue to go tacky (~30secs with this glue) and apply. Using this glue I find that I get at least 8hrs wear and if I coat the lashband properly it stays stuck down.

The only con is that I find if you only use it once in a blue moon, it can separate very slightly and then it doesn't stick as well so it pays to mix it up with a cotton tip before using if this is the case - very easy fix though.

I would recommend this glue for anyone (especially beginners) using falsies. Best glue I've found so far!

I had never been professional at applying lashes and the biggest problem was the glue.

Especially with cheaper branded lashes the supplied glue was tacky and messy. I found duo much easier to use. The tube it comes in is designed so that the glue comes out through a funnel which means easy application

It's easy to detect when to apply the lashes because the white glues starts changing colour ( it drys clear ) And the fact it drys clear means no noticeable mess.

All rounder with this glue.

I have tried several lash glues to try and find the right one of me.

This has a good formula - it dries quickly and isn't messy to use. My lashes stay in place all day and it also doesn't irritate the skin on my eyelids.

I do find however that it can be easy to squeeze too much, but it's easy to spread and even out. And, like most glues, it can be hard to clean off the lashes.

The first time I tried Duo, I tried it in the black, but I much prefer the clear as the lashes don't need the extra colour and any mistakes then aren't on display.

This stuff is amazing. I have yet to come across a better eyelash glue than this! When I wear false lashes and pair them with this glue it's guaranteed to stay on all night and I have never had to touch them up. This is huge no no but a few times I HAVE fallen asleep with my makeup/eyelashes on and have woken up with my false lashes still perfectly intact when using this glue.

100% recommend this and I use it on clients when applying false lashes and they all rave about it! I had one client who found glue used to make her eyes watery and itchy and found she had absolutely no issues when using this glue which was a bonus!!
